Is in the upper tier of total title defenses in boxing history.
Has consistently been dominating the division for more than six years now.
Has beaten so many contenders that the up and comers are afraid of him. (Thumps up to Wach for stepping up)

He landed them on Grant when he ( cheated ) and pushed Grant's head down, that cheating also shows me a lack of confidence on Lewis' part. Especially since Grant had whacked Lewis with a good right hand. Against Vitali, Lewis landed a few uppercuts but they weren't all that effective, and also, Vladimir is way better in lateral movement than Vitali.

    :lol::lol:

WLADIMIR WAS FIGHTING ON LENNOX'S UNDER Cards

HE HIMSELF ADMITS he wasn't ready for Lewis in the early 2000's. God. **** this. I'm done talking to to a troll who defies logic.

This type of **** is what sucks about boxing. This ******* thinks the only reason somebody can pick a white fighter to win a fight is due to racism. Technical analysis and experience has nothing to with it in FELIXTRINIDAD's small mind. No wonder boxing writers dismiss any caucasian fighter as talentless. To do otherwise would get them labeled "racists". This guy is a moron, actually a disgrace to morons.

Exactly which yesteryears were the fighters a clear level above? Back when there was a "color line" that kept the championship racially segragated or when the mob dictated who was going to fight whom and what the outcome would be, or maybe when a sizeable portion of competitors where prohibited from participating in professional boxing because of global politics, or maybe back when a single promoter steered boxing, the heavyweight division in particular, as a financial vehicle to benefit himself, competitive matches be damned? If you think about it the past wasn't all that great.

Lewis mastered the uppercut, the most underrated punch in boxing

Oh yeah. Lewis looked really short on confidence against Grant.
I'd hate to see what a confident Lewis would do to somebody. And yeah, he held Grants head on one of them.

Are you saying the uppercut at the end of the 6th that he collected Vitali with wasn't effective? You're insane.

Lewis wouldn't hit Wlad with the uppercut when he was moving. He'd do it like against Vitali. In the clinches.

Watch Lewis against Vitali. He hits him in the body, hard. He gets his right hand free and whacks him repeatedly on his left eye in the clinch. He does a tiny push and hits him with an uppercut.

Wlad, who uses the clinch to stop his opponent and slow the fight would get brutalised in close against Lewis. It would be like a man against a boy. Wlad does nothing in a clinch. Neither did Vitaly and it cost him. Lewis was prepared to fight in, and out of, clinches.

Wlad is very mobile, quick, and can sto just about anyone if he lands. But Lewis is capable of fighting rougher, and is just much more of a fighter if needed.

So when you say that Vladimir does nothing in a clinch I am purely imagining him putting Derrick Jefferson and Monte Barrett in an overhook and collar tie then pummelling them with left uppercuts and left hooks?

Well that was a damn hard uppercut Lewis landed on Vitali. Lewis would have koed Wlad in the very first round. Wlad just does not have the chin to compete with Lewis. For even trying to make a case that Wlad could have beat Lewis is pure blind nuthugging. The only reason Vitali was able to compete is because he has a chin. But even if Wlad could take a punch the Klitschko's have weak paper skin that cuts with ease. Damn can you imagine what Vitali's face would have looked like if it would have went the full 12. The Klitschko's just does not have the skin to compete with Lewis.

I say Grant lands a big right hand in round one like he did against Lewis and drops Wlad for the 10 count.

I agree with this, Im a big Lewis fan but he was unsettled by Grants reach and like most tall heavyweights not great at slipping a jab so he just grabbed his head and smacked him unconscious lol

Woulda been interesting contest for a few rounds with proper reffing.
