I know your ire is pointed at DubbleChin, but I can see an argument for choosing Cooney over Moorer.

My favorite fighter was Matthew Saad Muhammad, but I feel Gerry Cooney had the right style and strengths to beat Michael Moorer prime for prime. Moorer was relatively immobile and had a weak chin. Cooney had the power and size to crack that chin and overpower Moorer.

By having a longer, better jab. By destroying a shorter, slower, less busy guy who was flattened a dozen times in 35 heavyweight fights. Vaughn Bean didn't seem to have a problem "dealing" with Moorer's jab. Axel Shulz didn't have a problem dealing with his jab. Jesus. On top of that, Moorer was an average puncher at heavyweight (19 kos in 35 fights).
