Ok ill answer your question that the whole world already knows the answer to except you. The Douglas vs Tyson fight was a Fluke. This is why its the biggest upset in boxing history. Foreman vs Lyle was not a Fluke and this is why the 2 fights are not comparable. Now quit buggin..your obviously a troll.
Exactly a referee's count is never going to be exactly 10 seconds, because they have to make sure other fighter is in neutral corner. Plus a referee is never going to immediately start counting at 0 seconds as soon as fighter goes down. I don't even know why this is a debate, Douglas would've just got up sooner had referee counted any quicker. Douglas was coherent and well aware of referee's count and rightly got up in time. Referee's count is never going to be exactly the same as a 10 seconds in real time we all know this, all that matters is the 10 count itself not how many seconds it takes. Unless theres clear biased involved which there wasn't as referee counted in the same pattern for both fighters. Tyson on other hand was in no fit state to continue when he rose at 9 end of story.
Losses can be brought up for Foreman, but not for Tyson. Glad we cleared up your blatant bias. No wonder you took so long to answer. You're dismissed.
The only thing we cleared up is that you dont know not even the basics of how boxing works and also that you have Tyson Derangement Syndrome.
The hilarious thing is Douglas banged his hand on the canvas and was more angry that he got caught than hurt. Douglas took his time just like how Tunney took his time which is the smart thing to do. And you're right, Tyson was the complete opposite: glazed eyes, wobbly legs, completely out of gas, and would've gone down no matter what flush punch Douglas landed. People need to just get over it already, it's freaking pathetic. Douglas beat his ass, plain and simple. Idk how this discussion became an argument about counts. The implication is Tyson got "robbed" and we conveniently can't use the 1 loss in his prime in this discussion. What makes this so hypocritical is Foreman was even older than Tyson was when he fought Lyle, he was coming off a loss, and he still managed to win but somehow this is seen as a negative for Foreman and a positive for Tyson. Make it make sense!
Literally 50 knockdown compilation showing multiple instances of the ref starting the count without asking the time keeper questions.
This goes back to you being a complete moron and troll. Nobody asks anybody anything! After the standing opponent is neutralized the referee glances to the Time keeper as time keeper signals with his hands his count. Its quick and this is why casuals like your self dont pick up on it. This is the regulated and correct process for all knockdowns.
Tyson vs Douglas was a fluke and can't be used in h2h discussions because: Tyson did a line of coke Tyson had the flu He didn't train He smashed 20 Japanese hotel maids the night before He sprained his ankle One of his pigeons died making him sad A bad dream about Cus made him cry Douglas got a long count Tyson broke his back...spinal.
