Tyson would knock him out in Round one. When Wilder is running like a chicken he would get knocked out in Round 2.

Tyson early ko. And I'm of the school that feels Mike was a bit overrated.

I just don't see Wilder's defense and movement being strong enough to keep Tyson from killing him. If he had those two things I think it'd be a much closer fight.

    Don't know.

Would Wilder's height and reach combined with his footspeed be a problem for Tyson?

Tyson under the tutelage of his old Catskill team ate taller fighters up for breakfast. He could slip a jab and counter it in his sleep.

Wilder is far too clumsy for a fighter of Tysons caliber. His balance and coordination sucks and he doesn't manage distance well. Tyson by early KO.

Yeah, can see him miss a shot - and lose his balance - and get countered - and get knocked out.

    Wilder is truly f.ucking awful.
Prime Tyson takes him out inside a round.
    Prime Lewis too.
    Vitali inside 2.

David Haye toyed with him in sparring, can you see Haye doing that to any of the afore mentioned?

It would look exactly the same as the Carl Williams fight.

My lord, the myth of "prime" tyson should've been put to sleep when journeyman Douglas bear the ever living hell out of him.

Leaving tyson looking all over the floor for his prime bs

It seems his height is disputed by many.

Anyway, yes, I believe Mike would have been very effective.

Being as big as Wilder is, is not always an advantage.

From what I've seen of him so far, I haven't really been impressed.

Whatever you think about Tyson at his peak I think it's safe to say he destroys this clown early whenever he was a capable HW operator... Pretty much all but 2 years of his career of he would be a clear favorite over Wilder.

Douglas displayed a level of skill and craftsmanship that Wilder could only dream of that night.
