people dont realize how small Tyson actually is. His height was always listed as 5'11 . . BUT

I am 5' 11 1/2" and when i met him, i was probably 5 inches or so taller then him.

Lewis is/was too long, too tall, too strong for Tyson to deal with. Tyson's only chance would be to slip inside and land that money shot.

It would be a close fight. Tyson had an amazing chin like Mavrovic but was so much better offensively.

But ultimately Lewis had the superior career.

Tyson under Rooney was so much more disciplined and dedicated. Tyson pre Spinks stops Lewis in brutal fashion, however the Tyson without Rooney let’s be honest Tyson was just not the same fighter and Lewis stops him like he did back when they fought in 2002. Let’s not forget that neither of them ever got off the floor to win a fight either iirc

I just some of Tyson vs Mitch Green. Tyson was a dramatically different fighter back then. He worked in the ring. Obviously he was a different fighter mentally. Stylistically, He became a one punch artist later on but in the 80’s, his attack was more consistent. His stamina was good. Most importantly, his defense was good! It would be amazing to see the 80’s Tyson against Lewis. Would Lewis land as much? Would Tyson catch Lewis with a big counter shot? I think I’d lean toward Tyson by a little bit. Just a little.

That's just it, Lewis wasn't getting dominated and yet was taken out by lesser fighters overall than a prime Tyson.

If Lewis falls to those two, a prime Iron Mike definitely has a good shot.

Yes, Lewis is 9.5 months older :)
That Lewis is older gives the impression that Tyson is the youngest HW champion ever.

I honestly think Tyson KO1 is quite possible. The longer it goes Lennox' chances increase. But at his very peak Tyson didn't fade late.

Late 80s Tyson (pre Douglas loss) might give Lennox a fight. I can see it go either way, but still favor LL.

After that Lewis beats Tyson by UD or T(KO) every day and twice on Sundays.

Even a shot tyson rocked Lewis with a few Jabs.
For some reason Lewis was still very wary of Tysons power.
Even though Tyson was dominated, the stylistic matchup still somehow makes you feel that Prime Tyson would do well.
It could easily turn into Lewis going into survival mode and Tyson winning a decision like he did against Tucker

Peak Tyson I think will catch Lewis, hurt and finish him. Lewis was put down and drug into rugged fights with scrappy guys like Mercer (Mercer is no Tyson) If McCall can connect and drop Lennox and Rahman can knock him out I don’t see Lewis not getting caught somewhere and Tyson was a great white with blood is in the water when it came to finishing in the 80’s. This is obviously just my opinion. I can totally see the other side of it as well Lewis being a big guy, Tyson struggling with big guys in the past, Lewis has a good job, good power he has all the tools to beat Tyson and maybe he does. I just think Tyson gets him.

There is an old quote here where they measured peak Tyson barefeet. 5'10" 1/2.

This sounds like bull ****, so you are saying that you are 5 inches taller than Tyson?! That would make him 5ft5 lol
