This. I never got the hype behind Vitali, who was only ever good against big and slow fighters that lacked skill or short fighters with no speed or head movement. Vitali is extremely overrated and isn't even half the fighter his younger brother is. Vitali's resume is filled with old and shot fighters.

Byrd with 10 days notice figured Vitali out in 3 rounds and went to work on his body and gassed Vitali out. Vitali quit like a coward to avoid being knocked out by Byrd. Merchant even called Vitali out about quitting and Vitali was quiet and showed no interest in rematching Byrd.

Byrd walking down Vitali like it's nothing and making Vitali quit. Byrd tried this same strategy against Wlad, who is twice the boxer Vitali is along with having power and it didn't work.

An old, shot, and fat Lennox Lewis was landing uppercuts like it was nothing on Vitali. The Doctor saved Vitali, since in another round or two Lennox would've had Vitali on his back.

So what is clear is that McCall was NEVER undisputed and YOU now date 1st defences when beating a 46yo as opposed to losing in your 1st defence against a beast like Vitali.
