Foreman power punch is the same as Tyson but Foreman is way bigger and way stronger. Tyson has never faced anybody that has the style of Foreman before. Sure Tyson tko Holmes but Holmes was past his prime and fought the wrong game plan trying to out box Tyson with moving away too much. Foreman wouldn't do that.

Watch Foreman vs. Lyle and if you can say Foreman beats a Prime Tyson after watching that without laughing you should go into professional acting. Seriously.

Tyson is absolutely top tier. I favor 68 Ali to beat him, make him a toss up with prime Liston and favor him over a prime Foreman. He crushes the overrated Louis and absolutely annihilates and sodomizes the astronomically overrated Marciano.

That wasn't prime Foreman. Foreman wasn't prime after Ali.

Tyson still beats prime George though. The handspeed would make the difference, and the fact that Tyson's punches are MUCH shorter and sharper and he throws in combinations. In fact, I think George would take an awful beating in this fight unless he suddenly turns into a master boxer and learns to fight off the back foot.

Tyson would beat most of them in my view. The swarmers would likely get stopped, and I think he is the one come-forward fighter who could beat Foreman. I'd favour Ali and Holmes, and possibly Lewis though.

So, even Tyson didn't think he could beat Foreman. So it's stupid for anybody else to think so.

Against any other come forward fighter Foreman would have the edge but Tyson had too many dimensions for him to lose to Foreman. And the speed would be an overwhemling advantage in his favor.

You're forgetting that Mike Tyson was a Cus D'Amato fighter, and D'Amato fighters all had the same strengths and flaws. Just like Patterson lost to rugged guys who stood their ground and fought, so did Tyson.

When Floyd Patterson lost to Joey Maxim, Cus D'amato decided he would try to duck all tough fighters, which is why he didn't let Floyd move to the HW division until immediately after Marciano retired. When Sonny Liston asked for a title shot a few years later, D'Amato wanted to duck him, but Floyd insisted.

Tyson lost to Buster Douglas, a guy who stood his ground and fought back. Yes Tyson had not trained enough, but Douglas was not a great fighter. I think Tyson would have lost to Bonecrusher Smith, if smith had not been afraid to fight. He managed to rough Tyson up in the last few seconds of the fight. Just imagine if he had done that from round one.

Holyfield also came to fight, and walked Tyson down en route to a late stoppage.

There's no way Tyson survives Marciano. With Dempsey it would be up for grabs, as they both had minor stamina issues, but Marciano would weather the initial storm (like he did against Walcott's initial onslaught) and stop Mike in the late rounds.

That's like saying watch Tyson-Ruddock etc

Foreman had not recovered from his loss against Ali when he fought Lyle

Are you comparing Walcott to Tyson? If Tyson fought bums as everybody says, well so did Marciano for the most part of his carrer. Tyson is just too powerfull for Marciano. Now matter how big a heart, how great the will Marciano had his skill was too por and him and Mike have the same height but also a 35 pound difference. Tyson was way to explosive, powerfull and fast for anyone to even imagine Marciano could weather the intial storm. Tyson would bully him around worse then Foreman did to Fraizer.
And alot of fighters fought back to Mike not just Douglas and Holyfield, this belive that Tyson won all of his fights my intimidation and the only thing required to defeat him is to stand there and fight back is a MYTH. And a stupid myth too!

If Tyson lost his fans would say that the Time Machine was broken and that it was not a "Prime" Tyson!

This post is just as bad as the thread starter's post, Tyson lost to Douglas because Douglas fought a great fight, used the jab and moved really well not because he stood his ground and fought with Tyson. Bonecrusher would've got KTFO if he tried to stand & trade with Tyson. Ruddock & Bruno were big guys & huge punchers, they stood thier ground and got beat down. To beat Prime Tyson you either need to be able to match his speed or move well.
