You people must really hate AJ , by even considering to put him in such a hypothetical predicament, off the back of beating a jaded 41 year old Wlad, inactive for almost two years, and just not having the killer instinct or finishing ability to put him away.

There is one major reason why AJ will not be able to deal with Prime Tyson , based upon what we know so far.

    1. Complete lack of head movement, upper body movement, and also quite poor footwork in judging distance. We saw this lucidly in the Wlad fight. This will almost put the writing on the wall and will not be helped by the second point below:

    2. Question marks over AJs punch resistance and ability to improvise when in trouble. This is a major hindrance against Tyson. Wlad, never been offensively minded at any point in his career, either simply did not go for the kill when AJ was hurt, because of a desire to box, and avoid any risk in being caught, or being fatigued and jaded himself. Yet, for two to three rounds following the knockdown, Joshua was not just on shaky legs, he was simply all over the place. And this is also bearing in mind that whilst the blow delivered by Wlad was a good solid right hand, it was by no means a huge punch. Many a fighter has soaked up those sort of right hands, Haye took a few and didn't really flinch for example. Even in the 5th round vs Wlad, the quick, glancing blows landed following Wlads knockdown had AJ all over the place.

Although the fight was entertaining and considered a classic based upon the drama itself, it was by no means a showcase of a great performance by either man.

Based on the above, there is nothing that suggests AJ has what it takes to survive a sustained Tyson onslaught. Also for those pointing that there were fighters who survived being knocked out by Tyson, ie bonecrusher, tucker, it must be noted that they held on for dear life and showed some ability to tie up, tucker was an excellent technician and was made to look sub-par by Tyson.

I cannot envisage anything other than a brutal ending for AJ at the hands of Tyson, or at best a situation akin to the ruddock fights where he takes a good pounding whilst landing one or two blows himself getting Tyson's attention.

Wladimir is a physical specimen, he may be 41 on paper but he is not biologically, he had
one of the greatest performances of his career in this fight.

He showed actually good head movement while he avoided the left hook of Wlad, his upper body movement is actually very good for a big man, his footwork as well and he keeps improving.

    Complete nonsense.

Anthony Joshua showed great punch resistance against one of the hardest heavyweight punchers of all time, he reacted very good when he was in trouble and knocked him out in the 11th round. He was never all over the place,
he took his time to recover and he took the right hand from Klitschko and other huge shots mostly by going forward, which made the punches even harder. He actually fought a very smart fight. Haye took the most punches on the backfoot and he was never hit with punches like that.

It was a great performance from both, if you think otherwise then you have no clue what you are talking about and you are only trying to discredit both fighters.

Anthony Joshua is levels above Bonecrusher, Tucker or Ruddock, everyone who knows boxing and has a pair of eyes can see that, so either you are blind or you really trying to discredit him.

It would never be a beatdown from Tyson, i have actually seen Tyson fights, AJ could compete with him right now,
if he would win is another question but he definitely could win against Mike Tyson right now and he is still in development.

AJ always attacks and goes for the KO, after initial nerves he`ll start throwing his deadly hook-right cross combo and his reach matched with the amount of shots he throws would be a huge challenge for Mike and his clever corner who he will need here.

Tyson`s prime ended when Rooney was fired. Tony Tucker would have given Wlad a good fight and had an iron chin. Tucker was the best win of Tyson`s career.

Evander said he learned from the Bowe fights before that he was good but I don`t know if he would have fought Tyson the right way if they had met when Vander was a little green. Tucker would have given Evander problems.

Bruno was only 6ft 3" compared to AJ 6ft 6" and Frank fought even worse in the 2nd fight that in his 1st meeting with Mike. Bruno was crap compared to AJ!

Be that as it may, AJ's stamina is just as crap as Bruno and with a weak chin. Not good ingredients against Tyson.

Tyson wins this one but is pushed and does not have it all his own way.

Tyson in his prime however was a monster and I see him getting Joshua before the final bell.

Part true, but be he showed good recovery against WK after a heavy knock down. Bruno never won a fight off the floor.

Tyson would never let him recover, that is the difference and lets be real Klitschko let AJ off the hook.

He did, although Banks and Vitali told him to ease off as Joshua would gas. Prime Tyson would swarm him and probably finish the job. Joshua was still lucky to get through that 6th round, very lucky.

not one of those fighters you just listed, did Tyson destroy "in mere seconds"

in fact, only one of those fighters did Tyson actually "destroy", and that was Ruddock, but it wasn't in mere seconds, it was a ref stoppage late in Rd 7

    continuing through your list:

    Tyson lost to Buster Douglas

and the rest--Bonecrusher Smith, Tony Tucker, and Mitch Green--all of those fights went the distance--UDs for Iron Mike, but decisions, nonetheless
