Good post Tricks, very well done and realistic, though I have a hard time seeing Wlad getting past the 1st round.
I'm tired of your all too predictable quotes: who is the man in the heavyweight division right now? I know you hate to give anyone credit than Lennox, but there's a chance Wlad could have stymied Tyson like your God Lennox did and KO'd his ass. So get off the bandwagon.:bart
Thanks, man! Appreciate the props. I think Klitschko would be able to tie Tyson up long enough to survive until the second. It's really just a matter of time, though, and I think a lot also depends on the ref and for how long they're willing to let Klitschko get punished.
:yep I hear that, I think the poster for fight should be deemed " Gone in 60 seconds 2", I have a feeling the Wlads ring walk would last longer than the fight itself, though I do see Wlad clinching him early on, I just feel a Tyson hook is bound to land at least once in the first round, and given Wlads proven weak chin, it wont take long before Tyson puts him to sleep.
Sunday morning Sports page Over-rated tyson, the youngest heavyweight champ ever, was took to school in boxing clinic giving by Dr. Steelhammer, after about 7 rounds, of jabs an hooks by th ukrainien, the rightcross became the weapon of by Goldmedalist, tyson beating that followed took two more rounds to send this guy back to stateville
I hate to give anyone but Lennox credit yet I'm giving credit to Tyson in this thread :nut Prime Tyson would take WALDOS head off, easy nights work.
Why?.... because 95% of the forum's opinion is that Tyson would win by quick stoppage? What, that automatically makes it a Wlad-hater thread? atsch :-(
Sunday morning, August 10th, 2008.... probably. Sunday morning, August 10th, 1988... Headline reads "Tyson KO's Ukranian giant in round 2". Period. :yep
I voted Tyson KO 2 because I reckon wladimir would probs get KD'd once or twice in the 1st and just make it to the bell. Then get finished off early in the 2nd round. Were's the options for Wlad to KO Tyson?
Mike was in his prime when he was KO'd by Douglas, 24 in 1990.. I guess you think Douglas KO's Wlad, too:huh Wlad would have a good chance of KO'ing Mike.
Tyson was surely a monster in his prime but he was not God. He struggled to put away many tall fighters who didn't have 1/10 the skill of Wlad. Wlad would give him a better fight than most here think. Wlad is extremely big, strong and mobile so it's wont be easy like must of his haters think. Tyson needs to slow Wlad down. However, Tyson and Young Foreman have the worst styles for Wlad. I feel Wlad would look to be aggressive early and establish the jab which he did against agressors Peter and in both Brewster fights, a poor-man's Tyson. Wlad has early success and takes a couple of rounds but Tyson's non-stop early aggression and head movement will allow him to land somethin big and Wlad's defensive reaction will cost him. If Wlad could react aggressively, he would have a much better chance but he hasn't really shown that ability all too much. Tyson stoppage rounds 4-6 :yep Vitali-Tyson would be a much more compelling matchup. Man, i would love to have seen that war.
Tyson beat the most skilled tall men in history. The general opinion of any tall fighter with a jab can win early rounds against Tyson is insane, Tyson beat 6'5 Jose Ribalta, 6'4 Bonecrusher Smith, 6'5 Tony Tucker, 6'3 Pinklon Thomas, 6'5 Tyrell Biggs, 6'3 Frank Bruno, 6'3 Larry Holmes, 6'3 Tony Tubbs, 6'4 Carl Williams who had the freakish 85 inch reach. He also took apart 6'3 Razor Ruddock, 6'3 Alex Stewart, and 6'4 Andrew Golota when he was past his best. Tyson DEVOURED tall fighters. Wlad wasn't close to being durable enough to last any more than 2 rounds. Vitali has beaten absolutely no one to compare to Tyson. Corrie Sanders was an overweight, semi pro golfer and that's his only quality win. Vitali couldn't take out an overweight and under prepared Lennox Lewis who has an average chin while landing everything on him and was going to be stopped. Prime Tyson would of taken him out within 7.
This thread has nothing to do with Buster Douglas. Why do Klit-ites constantly change the subject of the thread to divert attention from what is suppose to be discussed... the fact that a prime Tyson would have KO'd Wlad inside of a few rounds? Either admit that your guy would get smoked, or go read another thread. But please don't give us the "Wlad would KO a prime Mike Tyson" dream. You lose tremendous amounts of credibility with nonsense like that. :yep
