Morales and Barrera beat Vazquez and Marquez in every single matchup.

Word. Everything Vazquez and Marquez do, Barrera and Morales do better.

I see Vasquez vs Morales being a candidate for fight of the century. If there even is such a thing. Two guys who can hit hard and have incredible chins.
MAB vs Rafa would also be a great tactical battle.

Agreed; two versatile boxers and excellent technicians.

Barrera's infighting skills would be the difference here. I see him wearing Marquez down with a steady body attack.

I see this fight as being a toss up. both are prone to being dropped. Rafas jab is a thing of beauty.
Do you think MAB would have problems with it if he decides to use it all night instead of brawling like he tends to do??

    How does Vazquez beat Morales?

Vazquez would have trouble with Morales's ranginess, long jab, and boxing skills. And even in close, Morales would hold his own as he never objected to a street fight.

:deal Morales could outbox Vazquez and had an iron chin. The only advantage I give to Vazquez has is on power

Actually I was trying to go for an even split out of fairness, but since you asked:

I think Vasquez gets the better of things on the inside, especially along the ropes when he gets Morales trapped; a better body puncher than Erik, just due to the fact that he is more compact: shorter distance to land those shots, and on a bigger target with Erik's long frame. If we are talking about ranginess, just look what happened to Jhonny Gonzalez; yes he was coming up, and he had Vasquez down a couple of times, but Vas came back against a much taller opponent (not putting Gonzalez in the same league as a prime Morales, just a similar physique). As far as the Morales jab goes, if/when this turns into a tear-up that jab is gonna go out the window, getting replaced by hooks and straight rights. Vasquez has balls of steel and a heart of iron, which match Morales'.This is just a personal opinion.

All-in-all I think all these fights are close to call. No one can say for definite who would win; its down to individual perception.

i think if Raf was able to consistantly hurt Vasquez... that Morales would butcher him in the last half of the fight... morales would take a lot of hard good shots, but morales in his prime was made of iron and that would be the differance imo.

EM and MAB are a notch or two above Vasquez and R. Marquez.

Morales was an absolute beast at 122. Morales would stop both Vasquez and Marquez, neither of them hold any type of advantage over Morales (maybe Marquez is technically better, but with his chin Morales would stop him).

I think both Vasquez/Marquez match up better against MAB then Morales, but I just think they take a beating and lose a decision instead of getting stopped.
