Pac wins 9 out of 10. Pac can only lose the 1st 1. Once he learned fom his mistake total domination follows. Ask Barrera, he knows. BTW Pac wins 10 out of 10 against MAB Prime for Prime.
prime erik almost koed him in the 12 th of there 1st fight:good but he won the fight, so that should tell you what prime erik would do to him.
im not sure if pac was in his prime during the first fight, he was moving up in weight when he challenged erik... :smoke
Ummm you're mixing things up here. Erik was almost taken out going southpaw against Manny. But man, round 12 of the first fight was the best round of the entire trilogy, and Erik Morales true last horrah as of now. That said, Manny has definitely improved since the first Morales fight. Getting outboxed that badly has to do that to someone --- Erik put on some performance there.
prime morales couldn't knock out a prime Barerra and he only...outpointed pac in the first fight. Morales would probably only 'outbox' pacquiao in his prime. Knock him out? gotta be kidding me. I like Morales. He's a good boxer and he didn't go out like a punk arse biyatch like MAB. When people mention 'prime' this and 'prime' that, they sound like sour grapes who can't get over the fact that their fighters lost when all the marbles were on the line. Hypothetically, let's say it was Morales who fought Pac after MAB instead of JMM. How would he have lasted against Pac considering he never had any ring technician skills that JMM had? I'm guessin' Morales' machismo and ability to just brawl instead of box when push came to shove...Morales would have lost against Pac toe to toe...IN HIS PRIME. Just like every other boxer who decided to brawl against Pac. Then you would have had the excuse that Morales was 'shot' after such a ring war with MAB. Excuses Excuses Excuses...now can we please stop with 'prime' fighter against Pac?
Everyone said that Morales-Pacman I is the prime of Erik. It might be true. But is that the prime of Pacquiao? Of course not! So do not use that as the barometer to know who will win in their primes. How about the Erik in the first fight vs the Pacman in the third fight? Who will win? Maybe this is a better barometer of their primes (though I'm not sure if that is Pacman's prime but he sure is a lot better in the third fight). Do we see Erik hitting the floor on the 5th round? Big possibility!!!
Morales wasn't shot, but he was past his prime when he beat Pacquiao. Morales didnt even look that good against MAB III, yes he was game and it was competitve, but he lost the fight clearly and the first two fights were very close. He beat Pacquaio then lost to RAHEEM, Zahir wouldnt beat a prime Morales even at 135lbs IMO. At 122- Morales wins every time At 126- Morales wins 7/10 At 130- Morales wins 2/3
Hmmnn... Pac peaked at around 126-130lbs...EM did at 122-126... Prime Pac (130) would have beaten a smaller Prime EM...(122-126)
and yet we know that pac won 2/3 at 130. thing is that you can't just cruise through weights like that and say that a prime EM a certain weight would beat pac at that weight because first, you'd have to find out what weight EM competed in when he was considered in his prime. he surely cannot be in his prime in all those three weight classes
Hard to say, considering they both peaked at different weights. The best version of 130 Morales vs. the best version of 130 Pac, I honestly think Morales takes it in a close decision. Morales has the mix of boxing skills, granite jaw, and brawling ability to keep Pac at bay. Those saying Morales KO's him are crazy.
the threadstarter could just be sourgraping. the question tends to discredit the wins by pacquiao over morales. its like posting, "who wins, morales or pacman with cleto reyes gloves???" a better question is: "who wins at 122/126, morales or pacman?" we all know who is better at 130.
Pac won 2/3, against prime Morales? No. He won 0/0 against a prime Morales I was simply saying how i see the fight going at each weight, since 122lbs is Morales's prime then Morales would beat Pac everytime in their primes. He could outslug and outbox Pac.
all i was saying is that a prime morales could not have fought at all three weights. pick a weight class, say that you think it was EM peak and then asses him against pac at that weight. you said prime EM at 130 would win 2/3 against pac and that EM will win every time against pac at 122, so you think EM peaked all this time from 122 to 130? what you posted did not make sense. the thread was not asking for a three weight class match-up between pac and EM. it specificall asked that you take morales in his prime which was IMO at 126.
