Prime Morales VS. Prime JMM. Who wins?

I went with Morales.

But really who knows. Hard fight to judge.

I picked Morales because I feel he is the more accomplished fighter. I felt he comfortably beat Pac at the end of his career, and I had himbeating MAB in their first two encounters in their prime.

 

morales, UD. maybe a mid round knockdown. close fight, marquez capitalizes early on morales aggression to counter punch but he slowly adjusts and by mid rounds morales is picking his spots more and more. by the late rounds he is timing marquez and his calculated aggression is paying dividends, cutting marquez and allowing him to take the last two rounds for a close, but convincing decision

close fight, on paper morales should win this fight, and its a fantasy matchup.....but its boxing and anything can happen....Even though morales got the win against pacquiao, pacquiao looked his worse technically in the first marquez fight....If I was betting, Marquez gets a close decision win....

EM by close ud or split decision. Although Marques is a dynamite counter puncher and a skilled fighter, the technical side of EM was commonly overlooked due to his reckless abandonment at times. It would be a great one though for sure.

Juan Manuel Marquez. I think Marquez gets dropped once or twice, but gets back up and wins more rounds based on accuracy and precise countering.

jmm does not do well against ATG competition.

got decked once by pbf.
once by mab who was way way past his prime.
got decked by Pac 5 times.

and EM was the absolute combination of brawler with good technical skills.

so i doubt JMM will be able to counter EM who has a 72 inch reach.
