who's the idiot that compard Casamayor to Kessler lmao, Kessler will never accomplish anything significant in his career like Casamayor
Hamed looked very good in some ,Mosley looked great in every defense and knocked everyone out. you seem to forget that Mayweather looked loke **** against Castillo.
Mosley was a vicious puncher and that weight and had UNBELIEVABLE hand speed, he would've beaten any of the mexicans and Hamed with relative ease
you saw Johnston fight past his prime knucklehead.Johnston at his peak is at Casas level if not better if you ask anyone who knows boxing isntead of checking boxrec every five minutes they will tell you that.
Oh you poor sod. I don't mean literally Barrera obviously :-( , I mean Mosley looked good at lightweight the same way that Hamed looked good at featherweight - by destroying mediocre opposition. Then when Hamed met a great fighter (Barrera), he lost. Mosley never fought a great fighter at lightweight (ie, a Barrera, a fighter of the calibre of Barrera). Therefore, without even one single solitary fight against a great fighter at lightweight, I do not understand how you guys can be certain he was a great lightweight. Where is the evidence for this? There is none. Roberto Duran was a great lightweight. Pernell Whitaker was a great lightweight. Julio Cesar Chavez and Alexis Arguello were great when they fought at lightweight. Shane Mosley was not a great lightweight. He may have had the ability, but he never proved it v strong opposition.
I don't forget that at all. But no-one on here is going nuts over how amazing Mayweather was at 135, people are doing so over Mosley, when there is no justification for it.
You are the dumbest dick on this thread, you keep responding when you don't know what points are being made. Log out. atsch
Why do you keep going on about boxrec? I don't understand what relevance boxrec has to this discussion. Johnston at his peak is at Casas level if not better Now, read what you said. Johnstone is at Casa's level. He might be better. That's what you are saying. Now, what I'm saying is that I don't think Johnston was as good as Casamayor. Like I said when we first discussed this a while back, Johnston was good, but I never thought that good. Now, you think he is at Casa's level. I think he is a bit below. Are our points of view on this really so radically different that it justifies your continual agitation over it? I think you're being a little over-sensitive. Calm down darling, calm down.
well you based your opinion having only watched Johnstons fight three times and two of those fights he was way past his best and then you said he was at about Lacys level, wich is ridiculous. and then you say that Floyd would beat Mosley cause hes on a much higher level than Mosley wich isnt true,i would pick the Mosley or the DLH of theyre first fight to beat Maywether comfortably
It is true in that it is my opinion and I believe it is true, same as you belive yours. I believe you are overrating Stevie Johnston. It is merely a difference of opinion. I would pick Floyd to beat Oscar at 130, to beat Oscar and Mosley at 135, to beat Oscar at 140. I would pick Oscar to beat Floyd at 147 and 154 (the 154 Oscar who beat Vargas in '02). I am unsure about who would win between Floyd and Shane on their best nights at 147. It would be a very very close fight. The reason for this is that Floyd wasn't as good at the higher weights. At the lower weights he was amazing h2h.
thank you blade runner! will pacfan84 plz get off gayweather's nuts? He always looked so boring at 135lbs. SSm prob by ko or ud. To much fire power lighning fast footwork an hadspeed and power. I dont think pbf was that fast at all.. I think even judah is faster. The thing that makes pbf fast is his footwork but he pot shots all the time which is fast but not blazing speed like ssm and taylor were in there respective primes.
pbf resume is garbage as well didnt take no chances i dont know how people rate this guy so high when he hasnt proven nothing? You talk about resumes? ssm dared to be great and pbf dared to not loose his 0! baldomir, judah, hatton ppppplllleeeaaaassseee! give ssm same resume retires undefeated lol! Same for de la hoya lol!!
Hard for me to say. I would have to watch some of their fights back to back to decide. I didnt get into boxing until about 2000 so I didnt see shane at 135
I am not on "Gayweather's nuts", I just think he was a better fighter and would work Shane out and beat him. IMO.
