I forget the guys name but yes it seems to be the same fellow, it’s obnoxious and is just asking for people to dislike you. What is the satisfaction in disrespecting one of the greatest athletes of all time on a sports forum?
I'd say 60s Ali gets an SD the first time, as Holy could take the punches and he had a lot of heart. Second fight Ali takes a rock solid UD...he might even surprise knock Holy down.
Makes you wonder what is missing from his life. As John has said....the clock is ticking. It probably makes him feel manly and covers up his own cowardice. A moderator is watching him, don't worry.
I think Ali had a substantial advantage in overall speed. In terms of handspeed Holy is not that far away, but add footspeed and reflexes and there is distance between them. Ali had silly reflexes in his prime. Holy had his own advantages, though. He was a more complete fighter technically.
Would be a lovely fight, I think, and you just never know until two guys have in fact shared the ring with each other. We wouldn't have guess that shopworn versions of both could have beaten Foreman and Tyson the way they did if it never had happened. But Ali has the speed, reach and height here and those advantages were hell for anyone to overcome, even pressure fighters which Holy wasn't naturally. Holy had the more complete repertoire, but that won't make much difference if he can't get the fight to where he can really bring it into play.
You mean Pacheko? No. But he had a medical at the Mayo clinic after the Holmes fight, I believe, because of concerns for his health, and they found Benzendrine in his system. But this was years after Pacheko had left. The Benzendrine probably explained how Ali could lose so much weight but also left him much weakened. In his next, and last, fight he was both substantially heavier and looked better. I don't know if the Benzendrine was connected to the Thyrolar he was prescribed by the quack doctor who took over after Pacheko left. However, his condition for the Holmes fight, the weight loss and subsequent weakness, seems like a one-off.
Even if he fought Holyfields fight he could take his punches. This scenario is extremely unlikely. The fact you're calling him Clay probably thinly hides a disrespect for Ali as well. Prime Ali is too slick for Evander. Easy UD for Muhammad.
I do tend to see Evander kind of chasing Ali around and not landing a whole lot. There would be a couple times I'm sure Ali would come down off his toes, but I don't think EH would get the better of it.
