God what memories. Don't forget the two Klits and GGG............sure had a thing for white muscular Euro fighters.
Well going by your username you've only been here for a few months and cruising around the archives won't pick a lot of stuff up.
But you do need help. Excellent point by point refutation you’ve put to me. So many to take on board, could you please enumerate them next time? Talk about a shameless bail. No need to self implode…yet again, Kami - The old moniker suited you best since were often prone to crashing and burning, just as you’re doing now. Tora! Tora! Tora! I know and process a lot more than you. You know it. Don’t be a hater. Embrace my wisdom that I am trying to share with you. Be ignorant, you must not. So, again, I know and understand far more than you do. I know, that’s not saying much - but it is what it is. I’m also not so negatively preoccupied with certain fighters as to bring them up, time and again, when they’re not relevant to the discussion, only to try and bag them with the same ol’ tripe that you come up with. Btw, I thought you were a “born again” poster - having now seen the light and the errs of your previous ways. Boy, when you’ve been dismantled, you revert back to type real quick, don’t ya? You’re always reliable in that regard. You’re simply not good at either legit, properly informed, logical boxing discussion or smack talk - lose, lose. Carry on…….because that’s one thing you’re actually good at.
No they don't. Cuchulain for example says Ali was "very hard to land on" NOT "impossible to land on". This whole "Ali fans say he was untouchable lolz" is a strawman. But keep digging your heels in, instead of simply admitting you were wrong.
Yeah, there was something with big, muscular and white that had an effect on him. Big muscular and black seemed to have the opposite effect. Would be interesting to know of his life, but maybe a bit scary also.
Anyone with eyes can see Ali was much much harder to hit than Marciano. It's not a good comparison because those numbers afaik, factor in every fight of one's career including their decline.
Now you're just arguing semantics when the spirt of what they said was in align with what I said. Just admit that people prop up Ali way too much and downplay his flaws especially in VS debates which is my overall point
Yes. And as pointed out many times in this thread, and ignored just as many times, Ali would roll and ride with many punches that seemed to land. Marciano, being a come forward fighter, would instead often walk in to them, magnifying the impact. Their faces at the end of fights told this story much better than compubox does.
There you go again with the strawmen. Literally the catalyst of this discussion was RockyJim's claim that experts claimed Ali was literally untouchable. You're now changing the subject to attack Ali for being overrated. Just admit you were wrong ffs, so we can move on.
