Mundine prime is a pretty good match up with current version of Ward..... I'll go Mundine just..... That's of course he doesn't fight scared but on pure ability

 

and also see mundine against such an oposition :yep

This is funny stuff. The Eurous will stop at nothing. This poll was started during a Ward-Kessler debate due to Euro frustration. Anthony Mundine? Please. Let's get this back into circulation now that more Americans are awake.

 

Gee, I get sick of correcting people with this. Especially cause I don't really like Mundine.

Mundine had a total of 10 fights before taking on Ottke. No amateur career. IIRC Ottke had somewhere between 250-300 fights (amateur and pro) by the time they met.

Mundine was taking Ottke to school until the feather-fisted Ottke clocked him. It was hilarious. It was wonderful. It made my ****ing day I can tell you that.

But to try and say that is an accurate indication of how good Mundine was/is? That is plain ignorance.

Or are people seriously trying to say that a fighter with 10 fights should be embarassed because they got beaten by a world champion with 250-300 fights under their belt? That sounds like skewed thinking.
My honest expectation of any fighter in that situation (no matter how promising) would be for them to get KTFO in the first or second round.

Hell, the fact that he was actually beating a seasoned world champion, when there is such an unimaginable difference in experience, should show pretty clearly just how talented Mundine is (or was).

The fact he got beaten doesn't prove much. Except perhaps that karma is a ***** (cause if anyone deserves to get humiliated it's Mundine).

Very well said...I agree with almost all of it except I don´t rate Kessler´s win over Lucas very high. Lucas was too far from his prime.

 

Hilarious to think any version of mandy beats Ward. Not on the same level. Everyone raves about mandys performance against Ottke but maybe you should all rewatch the fight. Ottke threw nothing at mandy for 8 rds & then had him out of there in 10. All Ottke done was let mandy run, yes run, himself ragged. Then popped him once he stopped. Mandy has always been exposed by the top level fighters & even been dropped by bums like crazy kim.
