The opponent was Jose Gerardo Caberera (credible opponent) Naz stops him quicker in just 2 rounds Marquez stops him in 4 rounds Cabrera having only been stopped twice in 52 fights, both times by these outsanding fighters.. Conclusion Naz in his Prime at Least shined with the best fighters out there.. Originally Posted by PowerPuncher This content is protected "Naz stopped a guy in 2 (Angeles) that went 12 with Morales. Naz stopped a guy in 2 (Angeles) that went 12 with Morales. Actually he stopped 3-4 guys faster than Morales 1 things for sure Hamed would have never lost to the likes of Freddy Norwood and Chris John as Marquez did in his prime
Thanks for the info, i feel Naz has not been given the credit he deserves, anyone who appreciates boxing should appreciate the ability naz had.
Is this thread trying to justify an argument for Naz beating JMM? There is an arguement but comparing how fast they knocked guys out is irrelevant to it if you ask me. Naz is one of the hardest punchers ever at the weight..Id probably only have Lopez and Saddler over him come to think of it. Naz knocked guys out..that what he was good at..Marquez counter punches and outboxes guys, thats what he is good at.
Many do not feel he lost those fights however...Ive only seen the Norwood fight once and I didnt score it, so I wont really comment on that one but I do feel he was hard done by in the John fight.
Regimino Molina was undefeated until he fought Naz This content is protected quite a while later after Molina had been softened up and broken by Naz Erik Morlaes TKO 6 Regmino Molina This content is protected And Naz destroyed Enqurie Angeles.......he was lucky to get through the 1st If that fighter was good enough to take Morlaes 12 rounds.......that says it all A young fresh motivated Hamed would have smashed up Morales and Barrera :bbb
