Marquez was not in Hameds class ...............like most featherweights He would have given Hamed a decent tussle.......until Hamed decided it was the round he wanted to end the fight in
And you based this off what? Chris would counter the **** out of Hamed. If Barrera was able to do it imagine a taller, more skilled counter puncher like John!!! Also just because Norwood is not a big name does not mean he is no good. You have obviously never seen him fight in his prime. He was a damn good fighter and would be one of the best names in Naz' resume had they fought.
All this tells us is that Naz is likely a harder puncher than JMM & EM but he is certainly not as good a fighter. Those guys are technically better & are more accumalation punchers, tho Erik has a couple of good KO wins at his peak (122)
I do, he was actually my fav fighter from the mid-late 90s, very entertaining but I will always hold a grudge for the way he just retired rather than come back. Normally I dont have a problem if a fighter retires, its his life, but Naz (like Floyd) does some amount of **** talking, they talk as if they are god, the least they can do is back it up & show us fans, dont retire after spitting out bull**** for an entire decade. :fire
Yea and Marquez actually beat Barrera who made Hamed look like a fool so much that he retired and nobody knew anything about him ever since
He was motivated for Barrera & lost clearly, he would have a punchers chance vs Marquez but 0 chance vs Morales. Ps. you dont know boxing that well if you think that because Naz beat these guys faster than EM or JMM, that means he would beat them too. Boxing never has & likely never will work like that.
my dik marquez beats him!!!! naz would UD him becuase he would have 2 10/8 rounds because without a doubt he would floor marques.
As oppossed to the ****** that says Hamed would beat Marquez because he knocked out one of his opponents faster....Marquez is not a knockout artist he takes you to school and makes you question your boxing skill just like Barrera did to Hamed.
Hamed was at the end of his career when he fought Barerra, everyone knows that he didn't train properly, was a three of four years past his prime. The fight was 116-112, hardly a schooling, Hamed retired because he fell out of love with the sport, had earned a stupid amount of money, won all the titles, and had just started a family. He didn't retire because he lost to Barerra, he retired because it was the right time to do so.
