Read the post. That is not what I said. Don't assume things. My point was, a prime, motivated, hungry and well trained Naz, would have performed better than the version of Naz that fought Barerra. Would Barerra still have won? Most would say yes. But at the end of the day, you have to take into account, Naz was past prime, not very motivated, hadn't trained well and wasn't hungry - he had fallen out of love with boxing before he even got into the ring with Barerra.
......and Hatton fell out of love with boxing, which is why he lost to Mayweather...... .....Pavlik fell out of love with boxing, which is why he lost to Hopkins..... Mijares got bored, falling out of love with boxing and losing to Darchinyan.... .....etc........ Goodness a point like that sounds absurd, when you figure all these guys had just hit the prime of their athletic ability!
I'm fairly sure that Hatton and Pavlik trained a lot harder for Mayweather and Hopkins than Naz did for Barerra. And, Hatton didn't retire after losing to Floyd, Pavlik didn't retire after losing to Hopkins. Also, Naz lost a points decsion in a competitive fight (116-112), to Barerra. Hatton got KO'd. Pavlik got schooled. Explain to me how your comparison is relevant.
he wasn't very motivated against barrera thats one of the key factors, he was arrogant didn't train and didn't give a **** about boxing by that point.
