im a fan of JMM but i believe a peak Naz (not the one MAB beat) can beat him, peak Naz can also beat PAC MAB & EM for me, a not so peak Naz can lose to them all aswell

When did Barrera say Hamed was the hardest puncher he faced? He said after the fight in the ring that he doesnt hit as hard as people think, I remember reading somewere that Morales was the hardest puncher he faced.

People need to stop saying "prime" or "peak" Naz, he only looked better because he was fighting nobodies. He was still in his prime when he fought MAB, the problem was that he simply wasn't as good. I know people found Naz exciting so they like to pretend that he was greater than he really was, but he was a B level fighter and would have lost to all of the great FW of the era including JMM. I would predict a knockout, late rounds.

People need to stop pretending that Naz fought nobodies, because their own knowledge of the Featherweight division in the mid-90's is so patchy that they can't identify anyone on Naz's resume. They also need to stop pretending that Naz never achived anything simply because they have some personal grudge towards him. The truth of the matter is, JMM was a nobody fighting for NABO titles when Naz was a world title holder in his prime. JMM didn't fight for a world title until 1999, and he lost. JMM and Naz were different eras. Naz beat a dozen former, current or future world title holder in his career, and he beat them in style. He also beat every title holder in the Feathweight division, to essentially unify it. There is no pretence that Naz was a great fighter, his actions and achivements clearly show that for however a brief period, Naz was a great fighter at the elite level of the game.

No way had a weak chin he was off balance more often than not. I suppose there is a case for no heart.. not always in the ring, he barely trained for some of his last fights.. he wasn't really into that much anymore.

I wouldn't get into a conversation with Rico Spadafora, he is one of the worst regular posters on ESB.
