There isn't even a question about this one. JMM embarrasses Hamed in a beat-down and mid-rounds KO.

JMM is a far more skilled boxer. He's fast; he's strong; he throws devastating combinations; he's a great counterpuncher; his defence is decent. He's been in the ring with the best and usually prevailed, if not running it close. Hamed's knocked out a lot of cupcakes by wild swinging and an awkward style. Frankly, he was never a top-quality fighter; more, just another UK overinflated balloon who knew how to self-publicize and work the press.

    Compare resumes:

JMM - Barrera, Diaz, Juarez, Casamayor, Pacquiao (dubious).

    Hamed - Ingle (?), McCullough (?).

There's a startling difference in quality, there. The first high-class opponent Hamed fought totally ruined him. JMM has taken on and ruthlessly dispatched the elite.

Are you taking the ****? Fair enough thinking JMM would beat him but I don't think he'd ko him and the rest is a load of shite tbh...

No, I'm not joking. Quite simply: who has Hamed beaten? Yes, he had good power, good speed, and good angles. But he was never a world-class fighter. To be a world-class fighter you have to beat world-class fighters, unless you're some sort of prodigy. There isn't a single world-class fighter on his record. He bashed up a lot of poor fighters who weren't cute enough to handle his trickiness. If it weren't for the UK's promotional mentality and his controversial behaviour, people wouldn't give him the time of day. He KO'd a lot of mediocre opponents and built a legendary status out of it.

JMM just has too much of everything for him. None of those wild, looping hooks would land, and JMM would dive back with fast, hard shots. He'd get totally outboxed - twice as badly as he did at Barrera's gloves.

I gotta pick my boy JMM in a very close fight. JMM by controversial SD.

Wow, you've actually wrote something that doesn't annoy me. Weird :think

I thought you would come out with "Naz was a glass jawed fraud who got exposed and schooled etc."

    I must have misjudged you.

If Marquez got dropped like some are saying he might he would be out cold, I think JMM would win a wide UD though.

This fight would resemble Barrera/NAz except NAz would suffer a brutal knockout loss.

Marquez would have a field day with someone as wild and open as Naz.. It would be a domination.

I think it would be a schooling by JMM for Naz,
JMM was the no.1 contender for Naz's wbo title for around 2 years and at 1 point was offered a shot so i dont think Naz ducked him, im not sayin JMM ducked Naz tho... i dont know the reason why JMM did not take the fight, he might've had a fight lined up or something ..this happened around 2000

Who has Hamed fought? Moraqles and barrera weren't the only world class fighters around that weight division at the time...

He didn't beat any prime atg...but he beat plenty of world class opposition and there is no denying he wasn't at his best against Barrera...He lost fair and square but by that time he was barely training, he wasn't hungry...perhaps the guy deserves to be hated...he wasted his god given gifts...but I can't take anyone seriously who completely berates the man's achievements...It's fine to hate him but denying his ability...

Hamed could have finished what pac wasn't able to do. Pac showed that Marquez has some tendencies to sleep on his guard. If hamed sees that opening he may be able to finish the job. Could have been an exciting fight if they have faced back then

At last..we'll never know. But my guest is this one. hamed would be outclassed and embarrassed similar to pac. The difference here is Hamed would end up flat on his back looking at the stars. :blurp
