pacquiao's style would always trouble oscar plus his much better stamina would win him a decision.

If he didn't get ko'd in the process. Like I said, DLH was a much deadlier puncher than Cotto. In fact only Mosley currently compares to DLH in heavy hands. DLH was faster and stronger than Cotto.

Would be a great fight because DLH is also a fighter - he can brawl smartly.

Unless DLH decides to box like he did aginst Tito, if baclpedals liek that all night, Pac will really have trouble catching him..

Yes, and 100,000,000,000,000, mil other boxers....

    False/Wrong/True or True/Wrong/False

Any southpaw will always trouble any orthodox style boxer regardless of who the boxer is.... some of them can solve the puzzle others can't.... I do believe that Prime Oscar woud have beaten Pac.....

I repeat "BOOM BOOM" would Pac have such a stellar status if he fought
    Whittaker
    Quartey
    Tito
    Mosley 2x
    Vargas
    Hopkins
    Mayweather
and a mirror image of himself while being severly weight drained. HEll even though Chavez was past it he was still a damn good fighter(although no longer great) that was still a good win for Oscar. Since Boom Boom wont answer how do you think Pac fares against those guys

faster definitely yes, stronger probably. i just like more pac's chances on this one more than floyd, stylistically and his intangibles. with oscar, you have someone coming towards you and thats is pac's strength. yes i agree that if oscar would not land a big one or could not dent pac, he would probably lose a decision.

it's unfair comparing pac's resume with those people because he started small. yes that was an outstanding list of opponents but p4p, pacquiao is not too far behind.

    sasakul
    ledwaba
    marquez 2x
    barrera 2x
    morales 3x
    hatton
    oscar
    cotto

Yey but what if Oscar used his Jab and boxed him the way he did against TITO for the first 9rounds? Oscar just might do that especially if he is taking shots while coming forward.

Yes, it is a Pac's strength, but that's only when he fights nobodies... Oscar in his prime wasn't the best defensive fighther, but I think you are putting him too much down because his old/drained version lost to Pac at 147 ...

Good point and I agree but I think Oscar would go unbeaten against all those guys when he was at 135 maybe even at 130(Marquez,Barrera,Morales) He would have whupped Hatton at 140 he would ko Hatton as devastingly as Pac did,and he would stop Cotto sooner than Pac did.

i did not mean it to be the soutpaw-orthdox advantage but yes this also one of pac's advantages for this fight. pac's movement is underrated and this would trouble oscar. we saw glimpses of this on their fight but people refuse to because they only see oscar as weightdrained and/or shot. also against cotto, when he started moving he would won some of exchanges. oscar likes to bring it on and i believe pac's faster (slightly) reflex over oscar would be the difference. of course this was just my opinion. but if i was forced to bet money, i definitely would not bet against pac on this one.

When Oscar wanted to Box I think he was a pretty good defensive fighter. Not in the Mayweather,Sweet Pea mold but slick enough to outslick Tito without being hit and im talking the first 9 when he was outboxing Tito not the last 3 where he ran.

i know his strengths back then and yes he deserves the win over tito. he was underrated now just because he lost some of his fights but i consider how great his opposition, yes greater than pac. but i am looking at this as if oscar was still undefeated coming into the trinidad fight. one advantage i would give of course to oscar on this one would be his natural bigger size. i would not rule a stoppage for oscar on this match.

Pac's resume pretty much still going around the big three mexicans or the big three amigos...

Marques = 1 draw and 1 very, very and I mean very close decission.

Barrera = 1 excellent win and one meaningless, and I mean it, one meaningless win where most of the people, posters stated at that time that the fight itself had no reasaon to happen...

Morales = 1 loss, 1 win avenging the previous defeat, and another win that happend because who knows what??? Many fans don't even know why that fight did happen... different reasons....
