The first time 5'5 Qawi at 190 pounds went the distance with him lol, he never stopped a guy anywhere near as large as Joshua, despite trying many times.

Holyfield was known for many things but knocking people out ”in spectacular fashion” was not one of those things. Pretty much the opposite - he was seen as a pillow fisted fighter. This notion changed only very slightly when he was the one to score the first ever knock down against Mercer. But in any case, the only notable HW he ever knocked out was Tyson - and that was a TKO, not a spectacular KO like the one Buster scored against Tyson.

Holyfield failed to knock out Bowe, Lewis, Rahman, Ruiz, Byrd, an ancient Holmes and an ancient Foreman. Heck, he even failed to stop Moorer “in spectacular fashion”, despite the fact that Mercer was one of the chinniest HW contenders of the past 30 years. Holyfield couldn’t stop Moorer despite knocking him down five times. What does that tell you about his killer punching power? Any old journeymen can score knockdowns (think of Cunningham or Pajkic putting Fury on his arse) but knocking someone out cold is a whole different kettle of fish. The fact is, Holyfield was simply never a big puncher. To claim he would have knocked Joshua out is one of the most far fetched ideas I’ve seen around here.

I’ve read quite a few posts from you and I understand that you hate Usyk with a burning passion, trying to denigrate and discredit him at every opportunity. Whatever floats your boat, mate, be a devoted hater then. But there’s no need for blatant historical revision or to make false statements with regards to boxing history just to support your anti-Usyk agenda.

In spectacular fashion. Joshua would go down.

I've said it before, I like Usyk. He is the 2nd best cruiser of all-time.

Bowe not even close to Usyk level.
Keep lining up these mythical Murican hopes.
    Usyk is a different league.

The funny thing is that probably the only Murican past or present that could potentially beat him is Wilder, because he needs so few shots to get the job done and is very fast for his size. Usyk could make a mistake, Wilder could hit a homerun. But of course Usyk is generally superior.

As for Holyfield v Usyk, Holyfield was stopped by Toney, someone who fought over THIRTY fights as a MW. He was a natural MW!

Until Usyk is even close to being stopped by a natural MW, let's be real, Holyfield is not doing anything to him and getting beaten up in return.

To be fair, Holyfield was quite old and Toney is a proven steroid steroid cheat.

Evan Fields was a walking PED factory. He wasn't just jacking himself with mild stimulants he was on the hard stuff and a whole concoction of it too. He was super duper artificially enhanced level

This is just a stupid matchup.

Bowe applies relentless pressure while Joshua does not. Bowe has a much better chin. Bowe is not gun shy like Joshua. Bowe WILL turn it into a dog fight against a smaller fighter. And last but not least, Bowe has a MUCH higher work rate than Joshua. Anyone thinking that Bowe will just stand back and let Usyk play chess is kidding themselves.

How anyone is picking Usyk is beyond me.

He stopped Buster Douglas with one punch who was pretty big, although Douglas was out of shape to be fair.

But Holyfield does have underrated power although hes not a big hitter, he did have some decent feats. Like being first man to drop Ray Mercer, and almost KO'ed Riddick Bowe with one left hook, whilst Holyfield was not in best of health.

As for Qawi he would of gave Usyk hell at Cruiserweight, despite Cruiserweight not being Qawi's best weight. His relentless pressure is exact style Usyk wouldn't like. Remember how Breidis pushed him to the limit with his pressure.

Because it's easy to apply pressure when your opponent stands right in front of you and trades inside like Holyfield did vs Bowe. Watch Bowe's fights when he on the rare occasion was matched up with a guy that moved like Tubbs, Holyfield 2 and Golota and you see a fighter who sucks at applying pressure when he's forced to cut off the ring, even against smaller opponents. Bowe wasn't some great out boxer or pressure fighter, he was a plodder with height and reach that used his size to negate his lack of movement by making smaller guys come to him.

Prime Bowe is not an easy fight for any Heavyweight,Usyk as good as he is his best wins at Heavyweight are the double over the flawed Joshua. Bowe would be pressing Usyk from the start and has more courage in his big toe than Joshua ever had.As for who would win its another mythical match up once more on here,Mythical Match ups should probably have its own section it’s that popular on this forum .

True. But even fewer fight like like Usyk. He's unique. Still if Usyk can handle Fury and already handled Joshua 2x I am more confident in picking him.

Bowe is a big heavyweight who can punch and is more complete than Joshua. Not one for defense though.
