One thing people who love Usyk (i like him as well, he is my favourite HW ATM) here missed is Bowe had super high output for an heavyweight of his size and had a very good chin while Usyk has low power at HW.

While he clearly won against "berserk Chisora", he seemed uncomfortable at times since the ring was too small and Chisora fought a bit dirty. If Chisora with his nonexistent skills can pressure and bother Usyk, sure as hell Bowe would. Probably nothing Usyk throws at Bowe would hurt him, Bowe would just keep coming and if he can pin Usyk, he f*cks him up. Bowe is basically the best infighter at Super Heavy. Also Bowe used to throw +700 punches a match (majority being power punches). Plus Bowe could punch to body and even below and fight dirty. Usyk can outbox a lot of boxers but Bowe with his output, dirty fighting and great infighting and good chin could beat Usyk. (Prime Bowe- Holyfield 1 match)

High out put only matters if you can get into position to punch and against a mover like Usyk it's hard to throw as much as you usually do when being constantly made to reset your feet and even if Bowe can throw that much against Usyk, Usyk can match him for work rate. Bowe threw 711 punches in the first Bowe fight, Usyk threw 712 punches in the Joshua rematch.

Bowe isn't Chisora, he's better than Chisora of course but styles makes fights. Chisora is a pressure fighter, he presses and his style is all about getting inside against a moving target and forcing them onto the ropes and corners where he can work. Bowe was nothing like that, yes he could fight inside but he usually allowed his opponents come to him, his style was never about cutting off the ring and forcing fighters onto the ropes, most of the Holyfield exchanges where in the centre of the ring because Holyfield was happy to go to him and trade inside and that isn't Usyk.

Bowe dangerous in the inside. He stops Usyk with a body shot

Predictably here come all the hypothetical match up threads where the super threatened Americancentric fanboys and brainwashed get their panties all in a bunch at the mere suggestion that someone who looks the wrong way or hails from the wrong region of the world could possibly ever best one of their gods who like never struggled against lesser opponents or lost fights or anything, honest guv, and whose careers were like completely controversy free

We do we always see these hypothetical discredit threads when it comes to certain fighters?

Boxing is a global sport now and fighters from other countries actually take the sport seriously now or are actually allowed to turn pro. Deal with it

Usyk is 36 going on 37 now, an age when most fighters are past their best or completely washed up, especially clean ones who don't artificially enhance themselves or extend their careers with PEDs like many of your greats, and he has been very inactive only fighting five times in five years.

Bowe was supposedly completely washed up at 29 for goodness sake and him getting battered and abused by Golota who was one of the few skilled big men and big punching big men he fought and the only EE fighter from the Soviet school he ever fought, a school he lost to numerous times in the amateurs, including by stoppage IIRC, literally had nothing to do with anything Golota brought to the dance at all

Like I keep saying these clowns view everything from the past through the lens of rose-tinted goggles and everything from today through the lens of a microscope.

Bowe. I missed the poll but would have said a good Bowe beats a good Usyk before or after Dubois. Bowe had quick and heavy hands.
