True Joe tended to do damage with that hook. Facial damage if they land clean. He worked that hook overtime. With that said would still predict McCall going the full route and losing on points to Frazier.

Frazier by stoppage is reasonable only if you are foreseeing a referee or corner intervening, either that or McCall has another episode and gets himself disqualified. Of course even McCall can be legitimately knocked out but I wouldn't actually favour any fighter on any night to manage it and Joe Frazier wouldn't be my first pick as far as potential McCall KO'ers go.

 

I'm a big fan of McCall's but he isn't that big of a puncher. All of his best stoppages come against fighters with pretty severe chin and stamina issues, with the peach of a shot he caught Lewis with maybe being the best punch he ever threw.

You gotta remember, Bruno hung 12 with McCall and made it over the finish line. If he actually was a top tier puncher, that likely wouldn't have been the case.
