I haven't weighed in on this thread, but I've seen the "Lost his biggest fights MYTH", so I have to bring truth and clarification. Here is a list of Oscar's losses. We will go over them.

1999-Felix Trinidad- Anyone with half a brain knows this was a Don King robbery.
2000-Shane Mosley- SD loss in a close incredible war. Great fight and performances by both. Oscar dominating the first half, Mosley dominating the second half.
2003-Shane Mosley Rematch- Anyone with 1/4 of a brain knows this was a robbery.

2004-Bernard Hopkins- Way to small for Hopkins, past his prime, part time fighter, lost to an ATG.
2007- Floyd Mayweather- WAY past his best, loses by SD, up untill that point was probably the 2nd guy to give Floyd a run for his money.
2009- SHOT to ****, loses to Pac.

So ODLH in his prime has 1 real loss, and when he is way past his prime he has 3 real losses.

Interestingly, his biggest wins are superior to a lot of Floyd's biggest wins. Fighters such as Quartey, Trinidad, Chavez, Whitaker, Vargas, Ruelas, etc...

AND some of Mayweather's BIGGEST wins are considered decent to whatever wins for Oscar like Gatti, and Gonzalez...

Oscar De La Hoya fought everyone, never had excuses, and in his prime was never dominated, Oscar was a fighters' fighter.
