This would have been a good fight. This was when Oscar was devastating with his left hook, and he used the jab very well. I don't really know who would win this fight. I think I would favor Floyd very slightly, just because oscar is there to get hit. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Oscar won though

Gotta go with Oscar in this one. More power, comparable speed, and a height advantage would work in his favor. No KO but DLH outworks PBF for a UD.

The same Oscar at 147lbs who couldn't lay a glove on an Aging Sweet Pea...And Floyd who is Just as Defensive and Just as fast as Pernell...AND WHEN FLOD WAS IN HIS PRIME...HE WAS FAR MORE WILLING TO ENGANGE!!!

FLOYD BY EASY UD...MAYBE LATE STOPPAGE!!!!

lol an old Oscar took Floyd to a SD . Pernell is also a southpaw, nothing to do with this fight at all. Oscar has a longer reach, taller, maybe just as fast as Floyd in his prime, stronger. He wins a UD.

    Thats what im thinking.

DLH kept Mayweather underraps with his jab and i think a prime DLH would UD Mayweather in a good fight.

Plus at 147 i dont think Floyd is as fast as Sweet Pea.

De La Hoya is going to be a tough fight at 147 for any one. He is tall with long arms. He is skilled and he can punch.

Mayweather is a defensive master and a crafty counter puncher.

I don't see this match up being that much diffrent than their real fight. While De La Hoya will be at a better weight for him while prime @147 rather than 154 wher he was very good. Mayweather will be at a better weight for him at 147 than 150.

Oh...you mean that fight at 154lbs...where Oscar had 6 previous fight at that weight and one fight at 160lbs...and Mayweather who had never fought above 147lbs???

Again Floyd by UD or Late Stoppage!!!!!

I totally agree. A VERY GOOD Fighter (B+)...That capitalized on Great Looks, Charming Personality and GRINGO INGLES!!!

Which got him appearances on Leno, Letterman, Good Morning America...etc.

But evertime he fought an ELITE-LEVEL fighter Mosley, Hopkins, Mayweather, Trinidad (Although I though he won) Pacquiao he lost!!!

Not to mentioned two fighters that are missing from his resume.
After Mosley beat him...Two fighters beat Mosley: Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest. I would have Love for Oscar to have given Winky and Forrest a fight. The outcome would be obvious....But I still would have liked to have seen those fights!!!!

Definitely a UD. Floyd did well at 154 which is way out of his comfort zone seeing as he'd had only a few fights at 147 previous. Prime v Prime Floyd wins everytime.
