Oscar was robbed in the rematch against Mosley.
Oscar still would beat Cotto now.

Oscar TKFO Cotto in his prime, would be a close one now.

The best fight would be Oscar (prime) vs Mayweather, say at 140/147.

It would be a close fight, but I pick De la Hoya.

Cotto is definitely in his prime now. He's 27 and he likes to brawl. How many years does he have left...5, 6?

Delahoya and probably by KO, if not in a wide UD where Cotto takes a beating and touches the canvas a couple of times. Now, I can see Cotto stealing the fight in the late rounds....but the more probable is that Hoya would KO him.

This matchup is made for Oscar. He would win this now, he would DESTROY him in his prime. Styles make fights, and this tilts way towards Oscar.

I agree with the above. There are really only two ways to beat Oscar that I see. Outspeed him or Outsize him. Cotto has neither.

As much as it hurts to say it....DLH would most likely be victorious. Though I think about 99% are underestimating Cotto's abilities. I even read someone saying Cotto's 1 dimensiional :scaredas: that's blasphamy. Anyway I seriously feel we have not seen all that Cotto can possibly do, lets remember Cotto's main attack is to the body while we all know Hoya's main weakness is to the body. Cotto's most vunerable to a good right hand from a conventional fighter DLH's weakest punch is his straight right, as a matter of fact during Oscars prime his right hand was his shitty. Oscar is an incredible boxer but I remember him barely squeeking by an excellent, strong but limited boxer in Bazooka Ike. Cotto is smaller, probably slower but his ring IQ is to be applauded. I don't think its wise to underestimate Mr. Cotto.
