Oscar of 97-01 beats the Cotto of 07-08 at 147. He was the better fighter.

Cotto is my favorite fighter, and I can't stand Oscar, but there is no way Cotto beats prime Oscar.

cotto by UD. oscar only had a good win against quartey and maybe vargas. never rose to the occasion on a consistent basis.

    Oscar by stoppage.

They're both naturally left-handed and tend to rely on that hand but Oscar had the better jab, better hook, faster hands, better foot movement and a better chin. Cotto could give him trouble but I don't see how he could win.

I dont get the opinions of some people re Oscar. Its hard to fault the guys record. Even Jack " the ****witt " Prescott gave credit where due.

Oscar sparks him. I like Miguel and he is a very good fighter but when I watch him I am reminded of a lesser Oscar in most respects. Cotto has the more... consistent, body attack but it isn't going to be anywhere near enough. He gets stopped towards the 8th round after putting up a sterling effort in my books.
