Oscar is faster, more powerful, takes a better shot, and all around better.

    Oscar probably stops him late.

Oscar Ko's him late. Cotto is a very good, very entertaining fighter but has never been on Oscars level, in his prime. The Oscar the fought Gatti and Vargas would hurt Cotto really bad.

And Cotto probably loses to both of them.

    Oscar by late TKO.

This, what exactly is Cotto going to do to beat Oscar? he cant outbox him, he cant out brawl

Cotto isnt even a big welter, how is his size going to bother DLH who did fine at welter and went up to 154 for the longest time

He is just saying that Oscar fought in a more stacked welterweight era and did very well. Oscar already has wins over guys that were better than Cotto

DLH is too big a puncher to go after if you dont jab your way in, that was a feature of the fights earlier in his career imo, he would have issues with tall guys who backed him up from behind the jab, Genaro Hernandez, Wilfredo Rivera, but guys who tried to come walking in his front door without using the jab to maintain a safe distance between themselves and DLH would get blasted, particularly up the middle.

Cotto has a jab, but he doesn't tend to use it consistently when he's pressing, which is why he might do okay early, but get taken out when he gets too comfortable.
