Oscar can say he fought Whitaker who was on Floyd's level in terms of defense and beat him. Floyd can't say he fought anyone with the skill, power, size, and speed of prime Oscar ever.

 

Oscar landed nothing clean, people try to act like it was close but Oscar couldn't get off. Mayweather was 2 weights past his best weight, at 140lbs it's Mayweathers weight and Oscar maybe a bit drained in a hard fight

AND Oscar used to be much more predictable, much more 1 handed at 140lbs and telegraphed, while not being too experienced at the weight

 

A younger Oscar dealt with Whitaker's defense pretty well whose defense I consider trickier than Floyd's. Floyd has never fought anyone like a young Oscar. And no Corales was never on that level.

Floyd injury is just an excuse for his bad performance. If he was injured, he would not have gotten in the ring. Proof: He prosponed the Marquez fight becasue of an injury.
