Floyd could barely beat an old Oscar so logically a prime oscar that was 50% better would easily UD Floyd.

Floyd was just doing his job, methodical about prepping Oscar like corn on the cob.

oscar vs floyd: oscar's main weapon is his left hook and floyd will adjust to that in the later rounds and make oscar's power shots miss. oscar doesnt have a superior foot movement against floyd so, floyd will take a ud or a split still.

oscar vs pac: oscar is stationary and not a counterpuncher. pac will win a ud by darting in and out.

oscar vs ortiz: ortiz is a wild swinger, i can see oscar landing a big left hook on ortiz's chin and hes gonna go out cold!

Trinidad was the only fight he didn't step up for due to the last few rounds. People take this way too far. Sure, he slowed down just a tad enough for Mosley to squeek the last couple rounds of their first fight but Oscar was still firing away. Oscar hit a fuking grand slam in his fight with Quartey, down by a point and knocking quartey down in the 12th and obliterated him. Oscar also stepped up fighting Vargas and putting him away late.
The thing is, Oscar was fighting elite fighters IN THEIR PRIME. Unlike Pac or Floyd, but props to Floyd for fighting Ortiz.

Philla I'm really surprised you think that PAC would beat dlh. Dlh jab and foot speed especially at 140 would cause PAC hell. But of course this depends on what type of fight dlh chooses to fight.

As for pbf, dlh couldn't touch pee to save his life. And pbf defensive style is better suited for being in position to counter even a speedy fighter like dlh. Pee wasn't able to get comfortable. This fight would be close but I think pbf might be able to squeak it out because he punches effectively with both hands. And he was more accurate than dlh even in dlh prime.

Ortiz? Is thread starter ****ing joking.

Dlh main power punch is his left hook but his jab was dlh main weapon in his prime. Floyd hasn't shown speedy feet at 147, where dlh showed he could get on his bike for damn near 12 rds. If pbf won it would be because he is effective puncher with both hands and has more versatile defense. The fight would be very close.

Dlh was not always stationary at 147. Dlh was always fighting differently. I think that actually hurt his development but that is for another discussion. And dlh was a good counter puncher. But that is not why I think he beats pac. He beats him because in dlh prime his jab was superb and it was very stiff. PAC would be eating it all day. Think how easily an old Shane hit PAC with his when he threw it.
