hmmm i think it would be a close fight, could go either way. i think Oscar by a decision sounds about right though.

Forrest was the Margarito of his day...all the top welterweights stayed clear of him...except Mosely being the true champion that he is fought a unification bout with Vernon and got his ass handed to him. We never know what a prime Forrest would have done to DLH but he did beat Mosely twice....who beat DLH twice. But than again styles make fights cause than Mayoarga beat Forrest twice, who was than beat by Oscar. ****!!! Its so confusing!!!!!! LMAO!!!

De La hoya had issues with guys his size or a bit bigger..(ie Strum, Trinidad). Vernon, pre-shoulder surgery) had a great jab and good power. I'd take Forrest by split decision.

sturm was a non-issue, middle was a step too far for oscar and everyone knows oscar didn't carry his clout up the weights.

tito may have been on the canvas a lot early in fights but he always got up to KO the guy - and that included vargas which is no mean feat.

also, oscar does have a granite chin. without it, he wouldn't be the ambassador for boxing he is now.
