    If you watch Cotto closely during high paced exchanges, he has problems keeping up. You could see vs Canelo too, but Canelo is not fast enough to shut him down like Pac was. Pac was too fast, Cotto couldn't see him anymore, where as with Canelo he could still throw one two punches in retaliation. You can see Pac start to dazzle Cotto from rd 2 on.

    Honestly, it doesn't really seem like the same Cotto. But, Pac was just too damn quick and wore 8oz puncher's gloves. Cotto couldn't see the punches. He wasn't in danger of being KO'd from one punch. But, he was getting hit way too much and couldn't do anything to stop it. So, it had to be stopped.

    no such thing as prime Pac :lol:

    Pac during his prime was aided by Ariza Smoothies being served at Wild Card...that was the time he was getting KO's left and right

    When Ariza left....no more KO's for Pac :rofl:rofl:rofl

    What fight were you watching? Watch it again in slo-mo and you'll clearly see cotto getting dropped in the 4th round.

    LOL

    Seriousily though canelos power is overrated a shot mosley took his punches fine infact he did better against canelo then he did against mayweather and Pac but both these guys are on a different level to everyone.

    I would agree with you except he's not generally regarded as a big power puncher.

    In short, prime Pac does not hit harder than Canelo. Pound for pound? Maybe. But they're facing different opponents and fought totally different fights. Pacquiao landed cleaner shots and his output probably doubled Canelo's.

    If you're going to suggest p4p Pac isn't the harder puncher.... That's a seriously uphill battle there.

    Pac dropped Marquez on the first punch he landed. Dropped Barrera with the first stiff left he landed. Hurt Morales in the first round with a body punch. Put Ledwaba into survival mode in the first round. Dropped Hatton with a shot he's still hasn't woken up from.

    @timeout

    You trying to argue something that isn't there? I never said Pac isn't a bigger puncher p4p.
