Pac is in his prime, but with his style he could get old overnight.

floyd. he dont have the legs he once had, but he has adapted well by straightening up his punches. im not convinced he is any worse than he was 11 years ago.

well at this point both have somehow gotten better at their craft...extremely better...they still outright dominate opponents so i guess physicaly they are not as prime as their youths but boxing skills wise i gotta say their as primed as you can get.

It seems that some of the Floyd fans bought Roach's comment that Floyd has lost his legs. I think both are in their primes. They could get old in their next fights but that remains to be seen.

    What absolute crap!

Your judging the prime of a boxer on their intelligence...or if they have a mind or 'no mind'? The brain could be as sharp as ever, but that doesn't necessarily mean the body is willing, or is as sharp as ever. Hopkins is still a very intelligent boxer...is he still in his prime?

Also, a boxers prime is judged to be when said boxer is at the peak in their career...fastest, strongest, performances, biggest wins, etc. But once a boxer loses who is thought to be in their prime...they are all of a sudden are out of their prime? :huh

I think Manny is in his prime he is winning fights easier and taking less punishment then he ever has his body filled out at 147 perfectly he has no signs of slowing

Floyd obviously is not in his prime but its funny because he got two of his best wins JMM and SSM out of his prime and maybe easier then any of his fights in his prime

a shut out and a near shut out in tow of his best wins

I'd have liked to see 130 floyd vs 130 pac, but this is still almost as good.

Here's the problem. Ever since Pac entered his "PRIME", the level of competition has dropped.

He went from losing to a past prime ATG in Morales, to fighting, the David Diaz', the Ricky Hatton's, and the Joshua Clottey's.

So really, it is hard to measure Pac's ability. Is he better than the B level, Diaz, Hatton, Clottey? Yes...Is he better than the past prime fighter in DLH and Cotto, of course.

But is he better than a Prime Morales, Prime JMM, or Prime Mayweather??? I highly doubt it.

Pac's prime weight was at 140. :rofl at Mayweather being past his prime.

Right now both men are at their overall best. These versions of PAC and Floyd would have beaten ANY version of themselves if that were possible to create. So the reason why this fight is SO MASSIVE is partly to do with the TWO very best going at it during their PRIMES!

How can you say his prime weight was 140 when he fought there for less than 6 minutes?

Seconded! Let's face it, it's not gonna happen. FLOYD won't fight PACMAN....as simple as that! :hat
