I heard of this also, a young Zab doing similar, but exactly WHEN was this? Whitaker pre or post Chavez?

It was never. Floyd zab and some others spared Whitaker and he schooled them all. Floyd impressed him with his ability and Whitaker complemented him. *****s have evolved this true event into floyd was beating Whitaker in sparing. Give it another 10 years and the story wil be that floyd knocked Whitaker out.

pedjr's resume suggests he is nowhere neear sweet peas' caliber.

    castillo outboxed pedjr ffs.

only idiot *****s would think pedjr can hang out with sweet pea, never mind beat him.

pedjr in the 80's will be like his papi, a nobody.:hi:

The only chance I see Floyd having would be Whitaker being Whitaker. Floyd cannot beat Whitaker if Whitaker chooses to use his superior footwork and foot speed to turn Floyd and jab him all night. Plain and simple Floyd has no answer for that. Whitaker could shut out Floyd in a boring fight if he wanted to.

But Whitaker is Whitaker. He would get in the pocket simply because he likes to. That is Floyds only chance in this fight.

Oh please tell me someone Whitaker beat who was as good as Floyd defensively? Ya?

    Kk, I'll wait.

Please find me such a man.

Floyd would beat him in a close competitive fight. Floyd got the better of him in sparring, it's unanimously known.

Man change you fuc.king name because YDKSAB. Pernell shits on both Bhop and RJJ in every way . . . and Floyd and Pac have both eclipsed them. The only Thing Bhop has longevity, to bad boxers in his weight range never learned half the stuff he forgot or else he would have been history a long time ago.

Sweet Pea is higher P4P than Roy Jones, and by a good margin, too. Sweet Pea beat Chavez, McGirt, and Ramirez.

Prime pernell is 135 and he would clear house on one night:D

At 147, the drugs and lifestyle was catching up with him he was still a great fighter but he slowed just enough and his vision was not as good. Floyd beats the Pernell that fought (and beat Oscar) and the version that lost to Tito . . . Floyd would win going away. Against Pac he would seem like Neo in the matrix . . . the Tito version would have a harder time

nothing in pedjr's resume suggest he is gonna beat sweet pea.

    he got outboxed by castillo.

pedjr's skills are only tested on bums.:good

pac's bouts with barrera, morales, margquez were good enough preparation for a fight against whitaker.

pac of dela-hoya, hatton, cotto fight will be a handful against anyone in the history in that weight category.

Duckweather wouldnt even beat Buddy McGirt and some fools are talking about him beating the best fighter since Ray Leonard in Pernell Whitaker, had they fought at 135 it would be Ez-Work for Sweet Pea with him winning every round and making Duckweather look like a fool. From 135 on up Duckweather's chances would improve still i wouldnt pick him to beat Whitaker at any weight.

BTW debating Duckweather in mythical match ups against ATG's is pretty much a pointless discussion cause the coward would never get in the ring with those guys.
