He has sliwed time somewhat but saying man who is now maybe third best heavyweight in the world is ridicoulous

Says something about the division that a 41 y/o who is clearly way past prime is #3

If you want believe so. All that todays division is **** is coming from guys who dont actualy fight. Being top of rankinga is a great feat and should be thought as such. Povetkin has fight the top of the line competition through his career and deserves respect beating top heavy. Whyte is clearly a fighter that can put him in thw limits and there is no shame on that

Povetkin is still competing at top level throughout heart, ring IQ, technical skills and determination alone. He’s physically shot I agree. Those two left hooks that dropped him he would have laughed off a few years ago.

I think it says something about the division and something about Povetkin whose abilities have always been criminally underrated and underappreciated by many. He managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat even though he's way past his best and significantly physically declined because he has devastating power in either hand and is an excellent technician and he's always had a huge heart and been a certified warrior, which is another aspect to him that has been underappreciated by many. Prime Povetkin mops the floor with Whyte and there's no shame in getting beat by a way better fighter either.

Ok I just dont think its so simple that take out two years and he would detroy him and i dont think any of this makes Whyte a bum. He has beat top level competition and if anything this shows how good Povetkin is

I believe Povetkin peaked later in his career after his loss to Klitschko.... when he had time to recover form that loss, form a new team, work on some things, he was a beast and went on a huge win streak... starting with Manuel Charr.... that KO was just as brutal as the WHyte KO. that was his peak. IMO

Even a 35 year old Povetkin Vs peak Whyte is a mismatch. There are levels to boxing and whilst Whyte has done extremely well for himself out of a combination of hard work clever matchmaking and the odd slice of good fortune/being promoted by the right guy he would have no business sharing a ring with the likes of Povetkin.

In the real world - not the matchroom safe space he's been operating in for the past few years - he's a fringe contender who would be stopped each and every time he faced a top drawer fighter in any given era.

Had that happened.... Dillian's head would be currently frozen solid, traveling 2000 mph, hurtling past and barely missing being caught up in the gravitational field of Enceladus.

Mariusz is underrated. I had him edging Klitschko & I think he beat Trevor Berbick too but was unfortunate not to get the nod in that one also.

Prime Povetkin wins inside of 2 rounds easily. He's lost considerable speed and still KO'd whyte.

Further to the accurate and succinct analysis from my learned brother moderator Serge I feel need no to add any other comments than to say “I agree”.
