Alright, haven't seen this one done before, who takes it. I got my man Quartey by SD, too tough, too fast, trust me. :hat
You have the greatest ironic screenname I've ever seen but you need an avatar to go with it, my brother.
Quartey beat a prime delahoya. I think he can keep floyd away with his jab. I can see him winning this fight. i know i know oscar got the decision but quartey should have won. He used his jab beautiful in that fight.
I scored it for De La Hoya, the twelfth round made the difference for me, if I remember correctly. Very good fight for being a cautious outing on both fighters' parts.
Is absolute peak Mayweather a welterweight? I don't think so...I'd probably still pick welter Money to eek out a close possibly controversial decision.
I like Ike, but I think Mayweather would be a bit too slippery for him & land enough sneaky shots to edge the action. Prime Ike would certainly be his toughest opponent & with his superior dimensions he'd make life tough for Floyd but he often faded down the stretch, thats where I see Floyd having the most success.
Prime Ike was teak tough and tho not as fluid he had a jab equal to Oscar's or Floyds, but much nore powerful. Floyd would have a tough, tough time hurting Ike and he'd only stun Ike at the most. Ike had his own defense and entice Floyd to lead and throw combos at a pressuring Ike. I think Floyd just narrowly, narrowly wins by split decision, gets bloodied by Ike's jab, and dropped along the way. Ike's late round slowdown would make Floyd figh the fight of his life and counter and stun Ike to win the championship rounds, but Floyd wouldnt do much better than Oscar. Ike vs Cotto, battle of the monster jabs, would be more interesting. Heavily favor Ike there.
