Povetkin does what he did in the amateurs and what he has done in the pros, somehow finds a way to win either by hook or by crook. I don't think Rahman has/had the two-handed type skills he would need to beat an opponent cagey as Povetkin.
Good take Butch. Sasha wears his heart on his sleeve in the ring, and it costs him many times, but I think somehow, he'd find a way to win.:think
Rahman was a good and underrated heavyweight during his career but he could be very inconsisitant. He could have very good results-Lewis 1, Sanders, the Tua and Toney draws that I felt he won, etc. Then he turns around and loses to Ruiz, an old Holyfield, and 2xs to Maskaev-fights he probably should/could have won. If Rahman is totally at the top of his game I think he beats Povetkin, but it would be a pretty close fight. If Rahman was off a bit, like he often was, than Povetkin wins. This current fight is a mismatch and almost anything less than Povetkin by dominating ko is a letdown for him.
Hate him but Rahman wins no doubt. ****, Povetkin barely got by CW huck!!! Prime Rahman blasts him out COLD!!!!
