Of course Mercer was a crap fighter and Liston would KO him........once again dingleperry you show your idiocy Mercer was a good solid basic no frills fighter good enough to represent the US in 84 and good enough to fight and stay in the top ten.....you see knowledgeable posters would say Mercer style does not match up well with Liston reach but it will not be easy Mercer was strong, hit hard and mentally tough he would tire Liston and even hurt him......an idiot poster simply says "he's a crap fighter."
