You need two hands and intelligence to compete with Ali. I always believed Ruddock was left hand crazy. He did not really develop his right hand to 100%. Ali would have been to smart and fast.

Ali too fast, too agile and out boxes Ruddock and stops him late.

Ruddock also started his pro career weighing in around 185lbs, he then added a lot of bulk as his career progressed, but it was a lot of bulk that did him more harm than good.

Do you think Ali was better pre Vietnam exile or after in the 70s?

The best version of Ali stops him on accumulation, probably embarrasses him en route to the stoppage.

He did not, you absolute fking muppet.

You've exposed yourself as completely oblivious to Ali's fights, he wasn't dropped in the Shavers fight.

There is more to boxing than power... You do know that right.

'66 Ali has more speed reflexes and skill than anyone Ruddock has ever faced. That Ali also has 0 losses where as Ruddock has a loss to David Jaco. :rofl:rofl:rofl

He's fallen right into the "not so knowledgeable trolls", congratulations to him, he's one of many right now.

Ali of 64 - 67 was as good as you will ever see a heavyweight perform. Ali would have handled Foreman and Frazier much better if he was in the shape of these years instead of the 70s where he had to fight differently. Although he was physically stronger he was slower in the 70s which evened the playing field with the other contenders of the era. The left hook that nailed Clay by Cooper would have layed out almost any heavyweight. Clay carried the fight with Cooper and almost paid the penalty for it. Also Jones was a top fighter and fought a young Clay who was still learning the game. Clay still beat Jones regardless of what others think. You seem to have something against Ali, I don't think you appreciate how great he really was.
