This fight might boil down to styles. Tyson was more powerful but Frazier was consistently busier...especially inside. When I watched Tyson/Ruddock I wondered why Mike didn't let loose more often on Ruddock. Razor was big and strong but I always thought a sustained attack by Mike would've ended it sooner instead of Mike having to endure the "Smash" as often as he did...which seemed to be Ruddock's only real hope as he relied on it too much. If Frazier can withstand a few and far between "Smashes' early I think he wears Rudduck down later and stops Razor by TKO as Ruddock would remain standing but beaten. A past it Frazier took the kitchen sink from a 2 fisted Foreman and kept getting up..A one fisted attack may not be enough here. Might be but I'm not convinced.

    Agree.

One of the problems for Ruddock is that he would let Frazier get inside consistently and get his shots off. Unlike George Foreman who utilized a big jab to keep Frazier at bay. When that didn`t work and Joe got around the jab George used his uncommon strength to push Joe backwards and catch him trying to get back inside.
Against Razor Ruddock Joe would be able to get into range and stay in range. Add in the fact that Razor had a low punch output and didnt use his right hand that effectively and it looks like Frazier would have too much on the inside for Ruddock to deal with.
Even if Frazier doesn`t KO him he would be busy enough to win a decision against a guy that just fights lazy.

    :deal This

Fun fights an all against Tyson but lets be honest it was only because Tyson fought ridiculously wildly in those fights?
he couldn't give 2 $h1t$ 4 Ruddock and acted as tho he just thought it would be fun just to throw any ideas of boxing out the window for the night and just have a bar room brawl and just try and slug it out with Ruddock?
no defence whatsoever etc and no real technique used either just balls out face first scrapping - and Ruddock still was really out of his league and tho he had a lot of his own moments (which Tyson basically permitted with his own disregard) he definately did still just take a SHELLACKING essentially?
So how can it really be any different when we're talking a prime Smokin Joe Frazier??. It can't!...is the short answer - we're talking an all time great versus who beat the best version of Muhammad Ali that anyone beat versus a powerful punching but limited contender who never really reached the heights in his own era

Well actually I do know a little about boxing. I 55 yrs old and have been a boxing fan since i was 15 and did a little boxing in the late 70s and 80s.

Come to think it, I probably know more about boxing than you. I just don't go ape **** when somebody doesn't agree with by picks.:bbb

Gee, I just went back and saw the part where "our boy" Elroy stated that Jameel McCline and Michael Grant had better boxing skills than the Foreman of the 70s.:rofl

    He may need to institutionalized.

Golota exposed Grant , not Lewis.

Real fans knew he was hype and Lewis was going to end him with ease.

    Eerily similar.

I honestly thought Grant was finished after his loss to Dominick Guinn 1.0, but the way he rebuilt his career is the stuff of folklore.
