i remember posting this about 8 months ago and most picked peter(which beffudled me)..........anyway in hindsight i say ruddock 2nd rd tko....:smoke:smoke:smoke:smoke
Um yeah he was, I don't think a 37 yr old injury prone fighter who was breathing hard from the 3 rd on would have dominated him after a 4 yr layoff as well.
Tough fight to call, both men are very powerful punchers, Peter had clearly the better chin. Though if Ruddock can land his uppercut, it might be McCline all over again. I see it being a good slugfest while it lasts, with both men landing bombs, I see Peter getting the KO in the 6th or 7th round, but Razor uppercut might change all that.
If Peter cannot regain his fighting spirit, then he would lose to a prime ruddock by TKO, if he fought him with the energy and confidence he had earlier in his career, he gives him a hard fight over 12 rounds, end of story, I think Ruddock outboxes him over those 12 rounds 8-4 or 7-5
Vitali would have put Ruddock in a coma. I'd take the Peter who fought Wlad over Ruddock. He will eat those punches and land one of those wild hayemakers. The man went 20 rounds with Wlad and Vitali and didn't go down once. and like FW said, his chin wasnt too great
' Peter is a joke, he can't even KO fellow C-class fighters Razor would easily have KO'd Peter on saturday.
razor was in a different league. peter's best win is what a decision over 40 yr old toney at hw? maskaev's fossil? peter would have a solid punchers chance but that's it. razor coud do many more things than peter can and does them better, not to mention the difference in quickness.
prime peter is the one from 2005 though, who still had confidence and determination. i think it's a 50/50 fight.
Ruddock was an experienced tough opponent, he would decision Peter in my opinion and will look very good in doing so. The man gave a prime Tyson two tough fights, he's not a joke and not close to it.
