Yes it can, generally the larger the fighter the bigger the shot he can take. For example, do you think that, given a free shot, a middleweight would be just as likely to knock out HWs with a single punch than he would Strawweights? Clearly not, so punch power is more effective on lower weights, but lower weights generally have less power, so it can be measured on a P4P basis. i.e. how effective your power is at the weight class you fight at. Naseem Hamed had great P4P power, but he's not knocking out Valuev.

Mayorga's chin was better. He took bombs from bigger punchers than Margo.

 

I doubt Margarito would and could give Tito 3 free left-hook shots and then dance afterwards.

 

one way to find out id love to see this fight made at 147 and mayorga could be the good guy in this one he didnt get caught trying to load his fists. i think the wildman could take out manos de plaster of paris
