Duram ,murders this guy. Mayorga does not even belong in the same stadium, much less ring, as Duran.

It wouldn't be close at all, nor would Duran taste the canvas, unless he just came in terrible shape. It'd basically be a replay of the Cuevas fight. Mayorga is far too wild to land many flush shots on Duran, who was arguably the best inside defensive fighter of all time. Just far too skilled for someone like Mayorga.

When did Duran get flustered and off his game because of pre-fight trash talk? There was the Leonard fight, because of antics during the fight, but Mayorga's not gonna dance and move and frustrate Duran.

Duran's more likely to have his performance compromised by booze, steak, and women.

I'd be surprised if Duran got dropped. Duran had a very good chin. Until he was old, it was usually sharp quick shots that dropped him. Dejesus's left hook, and Hearns' ungodly right hand. Duran took a lot of good hard left hooks from Leonard, some good shots from Cuevas, and didn't touch the canvas.

the press confrence theinsults. the pre fights. it a lation machisom thing especially with these 2. it would be insane and mayorga would get under his skin more then every one. and duran woudl come out guns ablazing. i (think catch a knock down) realize he nedds more of a control aprroach and beat him own down the strech for the UD

Duran was never more fired up than for the first Leonard fight, and he turned in his best overall performance. Duran was a passion fighter, without it his game suffered greatly. Duran at his most fired up is Duran at his very best.

Even if you don't like him, why would you want to predict what would happen to Mayorga? He gets punished, very, very badly. Absolutely one-sided fight.

I agree, The more fired up Duran gets the better his performance,Duran would Punish Mayorga on his way to a late round stoppage.

I think it would have little impact on the result, if anything it would work against Mayorga.
