Prime Ricky Hatton vs. Prime Zab Judah. Who wins?

I voted Hatton.

Zab is the better and faster boxer. But not the better fighter. I think Hattons rough-house tactics would frustrate the hell out of Judah, who would lose focus and give the fight away.

 

Judah only looks good against guys he can overwhelm. Against tough elite fighters he goes into his shell and relies too much on his one shot power as he doesn't know how to put his punches together or work behind a jab. Prime Hatton was a monster at 140, and his relentless style was all wrong for Zab. If Zab can't get Hatton out if there early, which I don't see happening, Hatton easily ourworks him to a wide UD or stops him late.

 

Hatton had a great chin in his prime. Better than any Judah KO victim, thats for sure, but thats the only possibility for Zab to win.

I think prime 4 prime Judah would stop Hatton...Hatton at 140 was a beast but when did he really step up competition? Zab imo is one of the most gifted fighters of our generation, sadly he didnt hav the temperament to go with his talent.

 

Ohh good question. Zab would make him look foolish in the first half of the fight, but if Hatton kept coming at him, I couldn't see Zab standing up to him for that long.
