That's true but it's the same logic as Marciano die hard fans use: Marciano wasn't beaten or broken - no one can beat or break him.

If Haye continues to beat fringe contenders till his 31 then I think that there will be many die hard fans suggesting that he was a monster at HW because he never lost - so no one could beat him because of his power, explosivness and speed.

As Haye didn't fought yet an elite heavy, Marciano never fought really good and really big puncher which would give us evidence that he could beat such kind of opponent.

I don't think so but it isn't that much important issue for me

for someone to beat marciano they need to fight for a full round, take a punch and fight hard enough to not let rocky into the fight. a young ali or perhaps a driven douglas would stand a good chance.

now, now.. thats cheeky! marciano wasnt beating up on no "fringe contenders" all of his chalengers were genuine #1 contenders apart from cockell who was #2. what rating is audley harrison again?

but he did, as good as there was then. archie moore could do it why not marciano?

Don't think so. But there is a Marciano vs Adamek thread on general forum where you can add your opinion.

I think that to beat Rocky you need a durable big puncher or mobile technician with chin. I don't belive that Marciano could push around Bowe like he did with 200 lb fighters. Bowe loved to clash and fight and he is just to strong for Marciano. Rocky could have some success inside but in overall view of a fight Bowe bruises him with uppercuts and hooks. Also Bowe has very good jab to keep Rocky outside - not all the time but I think that this power jab gives Marciano big trouble.

That's a fair point ... While I don't think he'd be much heavier, the same drugs we can safely assume guys like Holyfield and Lewis took would make him stronger, faster, have more stamina, no doubt.

He can survive super heavies shots, he is fast, durable, versatile, adaptable. Has all the tools and chances to defeat Marciano.

No it's not fair. If drugs would decide who is better in the ring then Shannon Briggs would be an elite heavy.

Adamak was not cracked by a power puncher and he does not have real Heavyweight power, guys like Louis,Marciano and Dempsey,Frazier,Moore even Haye have shown that type of Power

I think Adamak loses to the 1st quality fighter, to be honest I think he get stopped by Archie Moore and loses to Billy Conn

Drugs have there advantages and there disadvantages. Drugs have helped Shannon Briggs, A friend of mine was in the gym and saw him get KO'd by ordinary heavyweight Louie Savarese with one punch at the same stage of there development.

Drugs have helped Tyson,McCall,Ike Ibeabuchi, and many others but they have there down side

Tyson showed from his 200lb amateur days to his 217lb Heavyweight days that drugs can enhance an already gifted fighter but we saw the down-side in both Tyson and Ike...Evander has handled it the best but I think he is on a different drug

I don't think that you neceserily need KO power to beat Marciano. Speed, tactic and smarts are enough. adamek v Moore would be interesting though.

perhaps but that would entirely rule out bowe and adamek who are just not on that level.

Walcott,Moore,Lastarza,Mathews,Charles all had better speed, tactics and smarts than Adamak but it is easier said than done. In honesty I don't think Adamak would get past any of those 5, although he may have a chance vs Matthews or Roland but from watching the Dawson,Areola and Grant fight I don't think Adamak is of that level

I see a Mathews type KO for Marciano over Adamak, pretty quick and abrupt
