Or it could be the Brewster and Purrity fights all over again. We were talking about the era in general, now we are comparing it only to Bowes comp? Ok, Wlad doesnt get past the first Evander Holyfield fight. Then hes forced to fight Ruddock or Morrison to get back into title contention and gets knocked out again. His career is over and he sells used cars. Again Wlad couldnt make it past Ross Purrity, how is he going to get past the Garring Lanes, Bert Coopers, and Lionel Butlers of journeyman world, let alone the moderate top ten?
The Ring top 10. Recently, the WBA listed Kali Meehan as its top contender. Perhaps Chageav has a credible top 10 win this year. Ruddock and Tyson were the real top 2 guys when Bowe got his shot...not the South African cruiserweight. Forman, Mercer, Morrison, and Tucker were also top 10.
-True...Cooper and Seldon are known for their sturdy beards. -Holyfield/Wlad is no far gone conclusion...Wlad can jab and clinch. Still, Wlad can always rebuild against the cream of the 90s crop...approaching 40 Doakes, Hide, Donald, and Mathis Jr...than perhaps catch a yellow eyed Holyfield swinging at the air. -Why would Wlad sell used cars...he has a doctor degree. Your logic is curious to say the least....
Bowe simply cannot win this one, he doesn't even have a punchers chance as Vit Klit had a tremendous chin, in all honesty i see complete destruction in Klit's favour, Bowe's in fighting would not work as Vit would tie up and push off, he may land a few decent shots but it wouldn't be enough, mid fight stoppage with Bowe laid out and he would be out, for the count......
Your assessment is completely incorrect. Vitali was put away in 6 round by a Lewis who looked like he was fighting drunk. The worst buffonish performance he ever gave while he was at the end of his career was enough to put Vitali away who he fought on only a few weeks notice. The stiff, upright , rigid Vitali get popped with jab and long right hands all night. If your going to factor Golota into the equation , don't bother. Golota was smooth and used upper body movement to slip , roll , bob an wave Bowe's shots as he moved in. Vitali keeps his hands down low and has no upper body movement whatsoever. Bowe was the better talent , he wins.
How can he be better than Bowe:huh Who did Vitali beat and what performance makes him better than Bowe?
I don't think Rid**** Bowe is beating Vitali Klitscko, unless we see a fluke incident like a torn rotator cuff or badly cut eye. His defense failed him against rangy guys who hit him flush with strait jabs and Vitali could do just that. In addition to which, Bowe often relied too heavily on having the upper hand physically, an advantage he wouldn't enjoy here. Klit was durable and could take and give a good punch as well. I'll go with Vitali on points.
The prime best version of Vitali lost to the faded , washed up version of Lewis. Washed up , past prime Bowe beat the best version of Golota. Vitali was quitting against Byrd while Bowe was becoming undisputed HW Champ by beating prime Holyfield who has wins over SEVEN Lineal Champs. Who did Vitali beat? A logical , probability matrix, computerised program- states beyond all doubt that Bowe was better .
