Tough call, I think it's going the distance. Vitali was never down and Bowe was 1 of only 3 Lineal HW champs to never get stopped. Height, reach, weight, power, strength, chin.

I'll give VK an edge in height, strength, and chin. I'll give Bowe the edge in power, speed, and overall skill.

    Bowe in a war, W12

Bowe would beat Klitschko most likely by decision, but just could as easily have stopped him late, like the ninth round.Too much skill.

too much skill in his fights with Holy you mean?

Because he didn't show too much skill in his other fights regardless if his excuse was he didn't train.

Too me Lewis was superior to Bowe and Bowe fans just cant accept this.

I have read in this thread that 92 Bowe was superior to the Lewis that fought Vitali. I just don't believe it. Lewis didn't really fight past his prime significantly. Bowe certainly did but not Lewis.

Yes Bowe was outta shape and past it a bit with Golota but Golota was not a champ and Bowe was barely winning before the low blows. The top fighters went out and murdered Golota.

I see Vitali as better than Golota, I feel that Vitali could UD Bowe in a 12rd fight prime for prime.

I could be wrong, I think Bowe would have trouble with Vit's height. I think Lewis had trouble with it as well, big trouble, but then I think Lewis went back on how many big guys he had fought before, went back to basics and turned it around on Vitali and was blasting him out of there. I don't think Bowe ever showed such skills on a big guy. I don't think he showed blasting out skills on most of his best opposition.

if it was young vitali who had bolls to mix it it would be great but likely end in tko.

older vitali would fake an injury and run away, but to be fair, Bowe might not sign anyway.

A in shape and motivated Bowe would maul Vitaly worse than Lewis did.

Bowe is a much nastier customer in that type of warfare Lewis/Vit engaged, except Bowe never gets tired and fights three minutes a round, his chin is also much, much better than Lemmies...

    The end.

I don't think it was he just hardly faced any punchers, i mean if your badly shaken up by Tyrell Biggs and let's be honest Golota at the top level was no more than an average puncher had him in serious trouble a few times. Holyfield put him down heavily too and would have stopped Bowe if he had any energy in that 6th round. He was also known for being down a lot in the amateurs!

He wasn't shaken up badly by Biggs. Thats a lie. Biggs was running in fear from Bowe the moment he stepped in the ring till the moment Bowe put him out of it.

Bowe won those fights so your point is moot.

And since you just made a hit-n-run post bashing Bowe , why don't you tell me what did Vitali did and against who?

Vitali, probably. He looks like a bit of a robotic lunk, but his style is deceiving. He controls the distance very well and lands a high percentage of his one-twos. He did very well against Lewis (before getting his eye hammered shut) and I think Lewis is better than Bowe. Golota also gave Bowe a whooping before his brain turned into scrambled eggs and he threw the fight away by trying to get the high score on the "Bowe's Nuts" pinball machine. Then again, Golota may just be a lot better than he is given credit for.

Finally, I also remember the Pierre Coetzer fight, where, speaking of nut shots, Bowe had to resort to going real low in order to get Coetzer out of there. Coetzer gave Bowe a pretty good fight as well, and he wasn't the most skilful (but maybe one of the toughest) heavyweights out there.

    So Vitali gets my nod.

    They have some common opponents.

Bowe has some trouble vs Hide. Vitali Sparks Hide in 2 rounds

Bowe looks bad and wins on points vs Donald. Vitali wins every round and stops Donald.

    Vitali wins here.

The stupidity of this post is beyond belief.

Bowe beat the prime and undefeated versions of those two fighters.

How do you come to the conclusion that Vitali wins based off beating a long past prime Donald whose legs were completely gone and a Hide who looked like he took a dive?

If victory between Bowe and Vitali is based on Donald and Hide , Bowe is the clear winner since beat the better versions of them then Vitali did.

And the worst version of Sanders that ever stepped in the ring clowned Vitali in the opening few rounds. If he had 12 rounds of fighting in him , he would probably of knocked Vitali out.

Bowe wins here , partly confirmed by your own argument against him.

You need your head testing if you think Hide took a dive against Vitali. :nut
