Vitali didn't have any head head movement and could not keep a mummified version of Lewis off him. These are the facts.
Vitali was obviously a lot greater than Gonzalez in terms of work ethic , commitment and discipline. Gonzalez like Solis turned into a fat lazy bum.
That doesn't change the fact that Gonzalez was at his best when Bowe ran through like a freight rain.

Nobody Vitali beat even remotely resembled a fighter like Bowe. But you can say Bowe beat a fighter that was very similar to Vitali so an educated pick would side with Bowe in this matchup

Actually you know what, i change my mind. I just got done rewatching Lewis vs Klitschko. I think Bowe beats him. Bowe would force the issue and would take most rounds with his inside work. I never realized how easy it was for Lewis to get on the inside against Vitali after round 2.... like holy ****, Lewis did it almost every 3 seconds... i see now that Biggs wasn't a good comparison because Biggs was on the backpedel all night and had better lateral movement than Vitali. Vitali on the otherhand was eager to go head to head with both Lennox Lewis and swap hands. That would be his undoing against Bowe.

Even Riddick Bowe had better head movement than the Lewis that showed up against Klitschko on that night. It would be competitive but i favor Bowe by close decision

On the outside, Bowe would have the reach advantage and would outjab Vitali.
If Klitschko tries to "Joe Frazier" Bowe, big daddy was still faster, probably stronger with a greater power in both hands.
And since Vitali could be cut, it's either a UD or late TKO on cut win for Bowe.

Tubbs was a poor man's Vitali. Vitali owns this fight once Bowe figures out he can't win.

Gonzalez was an emaciated beggar's version of Vitali.

He was the version that wasa one- bowl- of- soup- away -from- starving version of Vitali.

Doesn't stop Dino from making these absurd claims, however.

you understand nothing about boxing if you think Tubbs and Vitali were similar. . Lets be real , you're just immensely trigged about the fact that Gonzalaz was similar to Vitali while Vitali beat nobody even remotely similar to Bowe.. And the only guy that was similar to Bowe beat Vitali in 6 rounds when he was old , fat and slow.

Saying Vitali is like Tony Tubbs is like saying Joe Bugner is like Michael Dokes.. You completely embarrassed yourself with that take.

No he wasn't, saying Tony Tubbs was a poor mans Vitali is exactly like saying Tony Tucker was a poor mans Wladimir. They didn't really fight alike.

In all honesty Lennox Lewis looked like a poor mans Riddick Bowe when he took the fight to Vitali on the inside.

Lateral movement, awkwardness, 1-2s, range, jabs. They had a lot in common. Tubbs was faster and a better inside fighter. Everything else was worse for him.

The only thing they have in common is they threw a punch.. Other than that Tubbs and Vitali are polar opposites.. Thanks for proving that ydksab

Tubbs had quicker hand speed was slicker going backwards though. I'd even say Tubbs had better lateral movement. Tubbs was on the backpedel all night under pressure against Bowe, when Vitali was under pressure against Lewis he fought back and was in the pocket with Lewis every 3 seconds.

I just do not see that ending well against Bowe, considering it didn't end well against old overweight Lewis
